We were there for this match, supporting Toon. The highlights don’t do the game justice, and it certainly wasn’t ‘thrilling’ as the title suggests! Pompey probably played better football and a fairer result would have been a draw. Stokes was way under par, and should have been replaced before she got lucky with the deflection. Hayles and Barker were outstanding as always. Can’t understand why a WSL team hasn’t nabbed Barker. We desperately need players like Gibson, Potts and Elson back in the squad. HWTL.
