The International Harvester enthusiasts would be proud of your great work on this wrench! I like how you showed what was actually used for! Nice work MagDad and Chuck!
That wrench is beautiful. It's nice the way you make the ugly pitting disappear. Red paint and polishing really make it an eye catcher. Thanks for the historic context. I would never have figured out its specific use.
The change in that wrench is really impressive. If a person didn't watch the video, they would never believe that was the same wrench. I have been using the shrink wrap on the steel wire brush too after getting the tip from your videos. Thanks.
Hey !Bonjour Magdad vraiment une très belle restauration, cette clé est vraiment très belle, polie à souhait et la touche de rouge au milieu est vraiment magnifique. Vous mérité une médaille 🏅 monsieur Magdad. ❤
Great resto Magdad! Thank you for all the videos over the past year. They are always entertaining with a bit of history thrown in. I've got to say, your workbench top is awesome. I would never replace it. Good health to everyone in the new year!
Great Restoration Mr Magdad and Mr Chuck .. Magdads Jungle Juice did a real nice job eating the rust off the wrench The M231 looks better now than it was brand new .. Take care and enjoy your Sunday looking forward to Wednesday video
Thanks Magdad, excellent work, that wrench was in a sorry state but you cleaned it up real nice, that deep red really shows off the polished metal ! Thanks for showing us the detail for how you fit the heat-shrink to the wire brush !
Great video. I really like EvapoRust. It does work on a chemical reaction, so the more rust or corrosion you can remove, the better. Once the chemical has reacted, it is gone. No longer reactive. Preparation is so important.
I tested something this past week (future video) where I put an item out of Evaporust into the ultrasonic cleaner and took all the black film and remaining paint right off. I was just being lazy! This wrench is awesome, beautiful detail work!
It’s amazing what our ancestors had to work with. I have an old Bemis & Call No. 90 steamfitter’s wrench. Used on a local railroad in the early 1920’s. I would have hated to lug that thing around for very long.
That wrench came out sweet looking. Careful with the red, Scoutcrafter be looking to take that away from you, 😮😊. I like watching you work pieces on your sander and Dremel, I pick up a lot of little techniques from watching you work the pieces.
357magdad makes it look easy but it's hard work to have the excellent results he experiences with some of rustiest, corroded tools and objects imaginable. Evapo-Rust really gives you no excuse not to clean up those rusty tools - it works and works well without a big mess. The other good about Evapo-Rust is that you can keep using it over and over again so don't discard a just used batch of ER. Before Evapo-Rust my go to rust remover was a mixture of mollasses and water 1 part molasses 9 parts water, it worked in similar fashion putting the chelating action to work chemically changing the rust to a black water soluble coating that washes off with a brush and water. Very similar characteristics between the Evapo-Rust and Molasses and water but Evapo-Rust is faster and doesn't have some of the sort of unpleasant natural symptoms of the chemical reactions seen with molasses and water. Evapo-Rust in regard to rust removal is safe to use and near immediate gratification.
Hello again, 357Magdad Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I lost sound when you were building your wire brush. I was hoping you could fill in the blanks on where you got the parts? Otherwise, this was a very good video. Again thank you 👌

Great job as usual. I was hoping for paint. It really made the tool pop. How many total hours did that take you?
Thanks! I don't keep track of time when I work on projects. I think 80 grit to fine conditioning belt took about 4 hours.
