The fact that this question still lingers in social media is getting ridiculous at this point. The man literally said years ago that he eventually wants everyone to have a chance to get a pair of Yeezys. Yes hype did die down over the years but only hype beast care about that. Normal people like me who genuinely like the shoe for what it is and actually wear never did care about "hype". You don't see people questioning if Nike are killing Jordan's and those shoes have been on sale for decades. So no, I don't think Adidas are killing Yeezys.
As a Kanye west fan for over 16 years , I was a kid when the first yeezy dropped on Nike and he was doing collabs with LV n shit . I could only dream of affording a pair let alone finding one . Now that he’s promised everyone will get Yeezys, this is actually a dope thing that they are more available . Who even wears shit for hype anyways ? You should wear cause you like the style and comfortability . Plus everything goes in and out of style indefinitely . I remember rocking sbs this whole time while people said they were “dead” now that Travis has been rocking and more exclusive drops have appeared they have revived .. just rock what u like and fuck the quantity or exclusivity.

Best 700 v2 so far.....but I agree that with the 700s v1 or v2 we need more color!!! These models are made for that imo with all the different paneling on the shoe we need more wave runner lke releases and less salt/analog
So I'm very late to the yeezy hype. They never excited me. I've always been into Jordans and various air maxes. I bought my first 350 in 2019 and bought this tephra today. I really like that it's so widely available.

No, I don’t think that they are killing the yeezy because it’s a celebrity shoe and they are comfy so maybe in year they will fall out but they should definitely slow down release or just make a “yeezy 900” or a different kind of yeezy

No. They are not killing the yeezy. It’s no different than Jordan’s dropping every weekend. Jordan, Nike, And other companies have hundreds of models to work with , while Yeezy does not have that luxury (yet). Yeezy is trying to establish itself as a brand within Adidas, just like with Pharrell, and now Donald Glover. Yeezys are becoming more available to the modern consumer outside of the “hype” so to speak, and is drawing attention to new sneakerheads. I think Yeezy and Adidas also recognize the potential of flooding out the market by making their shoes more widely available. To combat this, they are making limited models (reflectives) along with the general releases to feed both the limited hungry hypebeasts, as well as the modern consumer.
Yezzys are the best shoe line on the market they ain’t going anywhere, also Kanye isn’t the one that tells them to keep releasing these color ways Adidas just trying to capitalize of Kanye’s name, also ppl where bitching about not being able to get yezzys and now they complaining, crazy

You can just feel it. Yeezy hype is exhausted and there too many new colorways coming out for anyone to be excited. Even the Black 350 V2s were massively overhyped, considering in real light, they have a grey/bluish tinge to them instead of a true black.
