Lucinda will probably love prison. The way she used men and the way she dressed, and spent more and more money, shows she was a closet lesbian. Yes, she is a good actress, but how could she find a man as great as her husband? She very vaugeley reminds me of myself when i was in my 40,s and pre-menapaseal and i thought i might become lesbian. But it was a phase and i soon resumed my straightness. Now.....im a.😭👌🤩

Do you have any idea what this does to a woman, being violated by her very own father? I have a friend with 3 other sisters who grew up sexually abused DAILY by their dad. These ladies, bless their hearts - are so screwed up - forever. That's permanent damage! This is not some badge of honor!
That's not a sexual preference sort of thing - Lucinda evidently was abused the most/worst because she's a living doll. We can't even imagine what she went thru to become the vixen she turned into.

Man movies like this made television so fun to look at 😩.. love 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s movies so much. I actually remember this movie from a while ago, this woman was a piece of work.

Worth watching. Very good actors. Nice plot. She should have been a good wife because she was so blessed and her husband truly loved her.
Unfortunately a lot of these beautiful people who can steal hearts are damaged beyond redemption. The beautiful exterior hide horrible traumas and scars; unsuspecting males and females fall for for their exterior beauty and superficial charms, to their peril. Hurt people, hurt other people. They actually cant help themselves; the anger and rage bubbling beneath the surface is like a volcano that can erupt at any moment in time. Poor man, he was no match for this she devil.

I am not sure if Clay was an unheard man. He was a typical man . He fell for a woman playing well her role, that's what all men do when such a woman comes their way.

Best movie channel to watch when you’re looking for something on TH-cam unlike some of the other TH-cam channels out there that have lifetime movies, this one doesn’t focus and zoom in and out and it doesn’t skip the title is the name of the movie and the quality is excellent if you’re wanting to watch a movie on TH-cam I would highly recommend this channel
She had everything and ruined it. What a narcissist. I would love a life like she had but luckily I do have the love she had. My husband is the love of my life. We don't have much but we have each other.
I first married rich and really tried to make it work but he was a malignant narcissist. Got a good divorce settlement and found the love of my life who was a plumber. Couldn't be any more happy, and he makes a good living too. It's definitely a lower middle class lifestyle, but at my age I'm so happy to be with someone who truly loves me, and that's what matters to me I've realised. And the fact that this woman had BOTH rich and love makes me shake my head. Idiot.

There were some really good movies in the 80's. I know every decade had it's good ones, and I've enjoyed many from different eras, but I'm pretty fond of the 80's movies.

This movie caught me off, guard. I love Cheryl Ladd and Nick Mancuso. Some truth to this storyline is greed and no respect for life, lying, cheating adultery, and unfaithfulness have a heavy price.

This was based on the real murder of Jimmy Grund by his wife Susan in 1992. It was made into a book Deadly Seduction and then the movie Vows of Deception
The days when we looked forward and enjoyed TV movies.
She was either a sociopath or a psychopath. In case of sociopaths bad home and life experiences can play some role. But psychopaths are born that way not made that way and their bad home and life experiences are just coincidences and DO NOT play any role in that.
Her sister could have had a really nice life until Licinda showed up. She was a people pleaser and that was her weakness especially when it came to her sister. I think Lucinda was a bad seed and was able to influence and manipulate people easily unless they could read through her. I think she was likely born as a psychopath and would be for her entire life as it is so hard to treat.
Poor little girl at least she had the nanny looking after her.

I like all of Cheryl Ladd's movies. I saw her dancing with Andy Gibbs and she sang his song ( I for got to the title) but I was surprised she was so talented. At that time she was already in Charlie's Angels.

"Lucinda" will never learn any lessons as this is the true story of Susan Grund, a psychopath who still tries to claim she is innocent. So many details left out like how she put the little kid she beat in a coma who has permanent brain damage (step child at the time) and she has another biological kid before she got pregnant with another man that was taken from her before she married the man she killed.
