I always seem to find my way back to these guys anytime im in the mood for southern metal. 12 years and still cant find a better band with kinda this sound.
@@joshjendreas3645 damn right boy. And everytime im in the mood for southern metal and i come back to these boys i try to find another southern metal band that tickles my fancy. The only band that have come close is cancer bats, but they are a little bit more punk'ier
As an emo kid from the country, I am obligated to love this song! I remember hearing this on Myspace back in the day! This shits a classic! I come back to it constantly!
Too long and too little Tell me when you gonna bring it on Small fights and big stages Never terrified enough to run It's here and I can hear it I can see it like a setting sun This feeling I can take it I take it in and then I move along All lined up and built for pressure Step up... I'm on it Say your peace like it's the end Stand back... we're movin' Low down or in the middle Ain't enough to make me satisfied It's all, all or nothing Always starting on the highest high You asked, so now you take it I'll be gone before you hit your knees Some things sting forever Even if you never really bleed All lined up and built for pressure Step up... This is a Christian Rock Band!?!?! I don't listen to Christian Rock, but If All Christan Rock Bands rocked out this hard and raw, the Christian music market would soar. Mother of Pearl I feel like jumping up on my table and slamming into my couch.
It's basically railroad blues mixed with hard rock. It's like the episode from Hey Arnold, Alter Bridge and Airborne had a baby in a threesome and this popped out. Love it!
This song sounds so multi faceted. Sounds like the beginning of a bar fight, sounds like a song you’d hear playing in a strip club when a girl hits the pole, sounds like a song in a chase scene in a movie. What a friggin banger.
playing wwe2k16 with sound injector (pc)... this is my caw entrance song in my career. and always make me smile everytime my wrestler interupt another match... the song is bad ass
Saw them in Newcastle UK without Dallas. Didnt have a clue who they were. Best support band I've seen came out huge fans. My granddaughter is named maylene. Nice to see Dallas back. Come back to the UK my man cos wel be there.
Every time I hear the beginning, I feel like I'm hearing a Rob Zombie-esque feel, especially with how Dallas does the vocals...I love me my dirty ass southern rock anyday!
So glad Dallas Taylor is recovering well, its just sad that hell always have some brain damage from now on, I hope he can get his vox back, having a trach put in your throat temporarily can really fuck with the vocal chords, love ya dallad
2022 and it still hits. Dallas is making tunes again if ya didn't know.
I’m so stoked!
So there is hope for the world after all!
wait where????
The boys playing in Alabama at furnace fest and playing a show in Tampa in Sept. New merch is out too..
WHAT!?!? That's amazing!!
If ya listening in 2021 you got a great unique taste! Cheers.

unique? you sound like a bitch
This band is like the only one who can mix southern metal and hardcore punk perfectly!
There is also a cool group from Russia “Grizzly Knows no remorse”. Try it, you'll like it
Almost 2024 and no other song pumps me tf up like this one.
Prayers for Dallas for a speedy recovery.
Hes doing much better lately
What happenned??
@@JephMakeItStop Motorcycle accident messed him up bad.
You'd have never guessed that the original vocalist for Underoath would front a southern metal band.
***** Ehhh anyone who knew dallas knew that this is what he wanted to do from the begining

Fun fact that drummer was a bassist in under oath during their black metal days

Tom Arya from slayer is catholic if you believe that lmao
MoistyDelicious I wouldn’t put too much into Catholicism. That’s one of the most loosest Christ following religions I’ve ever seen.
You must have not heard much Christian Metal. 😏
RebelTEXAN 281 nah, used to be a Christian, now I don’t have a clue. Most people who say they are usually aren’t anyways as you pointed out.

This band is amazing. Metal with a Southern Rock flavor. An original direction. Bad Ass!
I mean I may not be Christian or super proud of my Southern heritage, but I do love Maylene and the Sons and southern metal in general.
Right? This is ALMOST enough to make you half way like being southern... almost... God damn I love this band so much though.
How is this almost 10 years old?!? Insane
Welcome back Dallas!
prayers for Dallas and his family! recover fast bud!
I share this with anyone I can. Love it so much

you would have never expected Dallas to go from traditional screamo to southern rock
It wasn't screamo
it was southern metalcore (early Maylene at least)
Underoath was Christian metal.
Forever one of my all time favorite bands!
