Hey Alexa! I've always put "handwash" sweaters in the machine insideout on delicate cycle, cold water, and hang to dry and they've been completely fine. So if you have a delicate cycle on your machine it could save you in the future. I've never actually handwashed anything in my life. Lol.

Some washers have a hand wash cycle too. Mine does. But if not then yes, delicate cycle works too. Just air dry it after and you’re good!
Safer to dry flat. Hangers can stretch the knit and you end up having little ”horns” on your shoulders.
This may be a wild idea but: you can wear Christmas sweater any time of the year, just like you can eat trail mix at home - nobody checks that! 😉
You should create 12 Christmas outfits/ looks with your Christmas sweaters and cardigans for the 12 days of Christmas as a video idea! ❤😊
I think the white button up dress is the perfect thing to finally pull in patterned tights 😅 would be so cute with your color block tights, I think!

One of my good friends worked at my local Goodwill and she said they would keep nicer items back all year to put out specifically on Black Friday -- I have never gone because the line to get in gets crazy.
The white dress is so you! I think it could also look amazing over denim with like a vest on top as well! There are so many options with it! Im also a big fan of the animal print top with black denim, that's such a good look!
I recommend getting a garment steamer rather than a iron, especially if you have a lot of garment with gathers and pleats! Plus is double as a refresher and sanitizer

I would suggest a steamer over an iron. A steamer is much quicker to use and easy to travel with if needed.
You definitely can wear that sweater for Valentine's day or juat February, my mom used to keep the Christmas tree up until February and I would hang hearts on them
A hand-held clothes steamer is easier/quicker to use than an iron. Sometimes you still need an iron, but a steamer makes me less wrinkly, more often.

I had the same % coupons as the 🇨🇦 Black Friday deal for 30% and went in the day before and found a lot of good things they were putting out for the Friday for the same price 😂 plus… no crowds.

I’m so glad you got the animal print top! When you held it up I was saying get it, get it!! Lol. I am on the hunt for a velvet dress. Not a mini body con, I’m 60, and not a fancy party dress. Just a long sleeved, just above the knee or midi length. I’m limited to one thrift shop though. I have one in my cart on Amazon, but I really want to thrift one.

You must have more patience than me, lol. All of my "hand wash only" clothing goes straight into the washer. I just use the gentle cycle. Haven't ruined anything yet!

Fun haul! If a sweater can’t handle a cold machine wash on a knit cycle (I also use a bulky or speed wash setting depending on the machine and load weight), that’s on the sweater honestly.
After, toss in the dryer for 2-3 minutes to get the wrinkles and starchiness out then air dry and stretch back out while wet if needed. Once dry, toss in the dryer on a no-heat (air fluff) setting for about 10 minutes to soften and refluff.
It’s only the scratchy new wool type knits that should only be hand washed. Those sheep do not like to be wet apparently.

My Black Friday shopping express was horrible this year lol
The store was packed and people just kept grabbing stuff. I could barely get to the section that had my size because people were blocking the aisles. Ended up thrifting one skirt and standing in line way too long. I'm glad you had a more pleasant experience.

trust me, don't get an iron get a steamer instead! soooo much faster, more portable, plus you don't need to actually touch the clothes so you don't get those crisp lines that only look good on button-up shirts haha

Get a steamer! Not an iron! Both are useful, but if you're just looking to get wrinkles out, a steamer is easier. You dont have to buy an ironing board, so its more compact. I love my little handheld steamer, and i reach for it far more often than i do my iron.

Put panty liners on the inside of the arm pit on the white dress and remove when you wash and it will help with yellowing.
I always sweat through the panty liners 😭
Why do the thrift places in the US not have changing rooms? Like what is the logic behind this? I think people would buy more, if they are sure it fits.
before covid it was super common for most thrift stores (at least in my area) but many places never opened them back up :(

Savers did their F&F sale last week Saturday. One of the YL Savers employees gave me their coupon so I'm wondering if they only do that now vs having it available for everyone on Black Friday?
Next time, get a pair or earrings that would put you up in the next percentage of savings, or a bracelet or something small that would turn out to be really free.
