Don't pay attention to the negative comments seriously. The ship is amazingly furnished the staff are awesome the shows are entertaining the food is delicious. You get what you paid for and I think all these negative comments have been paid for

Like all ships of the Smerarda class ... not suitable for a complete summer experience. Almost all the external areas are chaotic and are often not exposed to the sun's rays

I just finished a 7 days cruise trip from Barcelona to Genoa. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Firstly, the ship is overcrowded. It took us around two hours just to check in. On board the cruise, service from the staff is rude. I want to make a video and I was yelled at by the staff to not make any video. Then, everyday there was a delay. One day we are supposed to arrive in Civitavecchia at 8am. We booked a ticket to see the Colosseum in Rome at 10am. But the ship only arrives at 9am. By the time we arrive at Colosseum, we were late and we are not allowed to go in. In the last day, we were asked to leave our room at 10am but they arranged our check out time at 2:30pm only. We have to wait in the boat for 4.5 hours!!!!

This is the worst cruise I had ever had! I just got off from the cruise and can’t wait to leave a review. I had been to Disney cruise and the royal Caribbean cruise. This is the worst one so far.
First thing first- they have no service! Most Staffs are unfriendly and you don’t feel welcome.
Second - they are cheap! They are trying their best to save money to limit people to get drinks although I have the unlimited drink package.
Third - there are few delay incidents throughout the entire 7 day cruise. I could not go into the Colosseum because there was an 1.5 hour delay! I was late and the Colosseum cannot accept my reserved tickets. This is ridiculous. Getting into Naples was also delayed.
Forth - although I had a balcony terrace room … there was stink of urine in my room. The staffs didn’t do a good job on cleaning. They do not clean your garbage on a daily basis. They are careless.
Fifth - very bad management. They instructed people to drop off luggage in an area on the day of check out. However the instructions of lines are so unclear. End up people were fighting. Everything was so inefficient and there are no clear signs
I 100% will not come back! No more costa!
