I’m a fan of all 3 guys as individuals more so than the performers they were. Maven had a very unique entrance to the business through tough enough and as far as memory serves me, he’s the only winner to do anything with it in terms of longevity. Stevie is just a gem. So knowledgeable and also, I think would make a tremendous coach or he already probably is. And James, you brought relevance to these gentlemen and you should be rewarded for it. You’re doing great work with these guys and highlighting them for the great human beings they are.
"I can only tell so many wrestling stories..." EXACTLY! Some people whine about Kevin Nash's podcast when he talks about a wide variety of topics other than wrestling, but he has talked about wrestling to death and told the same stories over and over. He can't keep doing that. It's good to hear that Maven is looking to evolve into different content because it makes perfect sense.
That’s also why you see guys like Taker doing that from the very beginning. He’ll do an episode with an MMA guy, one with an NFL player, he had a world champion arm wrestler….keeps things fresh.
Haven’t watched wrestling in 15 years but these guys’s channels just hook me in!! 2 absolutely amazing guys who you know are genuine and I’m honestly so fucking chuffed they’re doing so well 💪
I've said it many times in comments, I had almost idea who Maven was because I stopped watching wrestling just before he got in and stayed very far away from it for a long time. I knew his name from hearing it here and there on podcasts much later. Now knowing him from his channel and all, I kinda wish I saw him during his WWE run because he's so wholesome.
His success is not just because of the good stories, but also that he just is himself. That he cares about the cannel and the community, that he still cares to reply. But I say the moment he just looks at it from an only business point the channel might struggle. Because if you only care about the numbers and the financial pay off, you really really need to have content no one wants to miss, no matter why you do it. And there aren't many that are on that level. Unfortunatly some of them are controversial and full of drama BS.
*Maven seems like a genuine guy, like Stevie. Most wrestlers come across as fake corporate frauds. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson being the most guilty of this.*
I remember when Maven first started his channel because his first video came up on my recommendeds the day he released it so maybe it was just luck of the algorithm for me.
I remember watching tough enough, picking two guys as the favorites for a contract (my brain can't remember most of the names)....the guy who did the Triple H bit in a bodybuilding contest (the water spray entrance thing) and the smaller guy, who ended up doing some commentating and interviewing. Maven seemed good, but not standing out (which is how thigs were edited). The stuff with his mother (I believe she was an aunt, or some other relation,, but had raised him and was de facto mother) and how he was with her and about her spoke volumes about his character and then when they got to cut promos, backstage, at a WWF event and Maven spoke the words "Judgement Day....," everyone suddenly took notice. You could see he had something. he could communicate, which is a big deal in performing. I still feel his potential was wasted in the company; but, more power to him for coming out the other side...alive, and moving on to his own things...and being happy with that.
Is it just me... or is Maven getting back into shape? There's only one reason he would do so, by his own admission. I'm hoping for Rumble and then any on camera employment with WWE. Who needs a manager?
Both Stevie and Maven may very well be good human beings. But anyone that doesn't go back and reconsider the Benoit tragedy narrative in light of Vince McMahon's exploits, is an absolute idiot.
I appreciate it, but I wondered if James would have done the interview if Maven's channel wouldn't be that successful, but just based on the facts that Maven and Stevie are friends. I somehow doubt it.
Wait, is Maven either gay or bi? He mentions his "partner" a few times throughout, is all (I know sometimes straight people will refer to their bf/gf as their "partner" too, but its less common - I also should mention that i'm very queer myself, so i'm not asking in an insulting way at all - just genuinely curious. I always did think he had weirdly nice eyebrows for a straight dude lol)
It's cool that Stevie and Maven are good friends.
Both had things in common like their dislike for Shawn Michaels.
They just need RVD to make it a trio. Those three on the same show shooting on HBK would be legendary.
@@MobKnowledge rvd's impression of hbk will live forever in wrestling shoot infamany 😂😜
@@MobKnowledge Or Shane Douglas.
@@MobKnowledge RDV not into quality of production. More like podcast with clips.

Two of the best guys in the business
Hardly
@ in terms of being nice guys
@@LeftyStegman i agree with that
Two of the best wrestlers in the world right now. Making big bucks while not bumping
Facts
Awesome to see Maven here. Really enjoy his channel and getting his take on things.
Thanks!

Great to have Maven as a guest 👍👍, Maven always comes across as a sound guy and easy going.
He wasn't a sound guy he was a wrestler
I can see why Trump got elected. You Americans hate the truth don't you.
Maven & Stevie are arguably the best wrestlers in the world right now. Making bank while not bumping
Great comment. I just pray we can get them to new heights. Stevie more just because maven is already over 500k
Ill watch maven on any subject dude can talk id love to hear him do commentary it might actually get me back in the product
Do you believe in God? You seem to be easily fooled by lies.
"He beats me awake every day!" - Maven Huffman on Big Stevie Cool 😎
Haha 😂

Hey Maven, Stevie here!
Stevie and Maven need to do an episode together
This new version of Maven sounds so pro wrestling I really hope he comes back in some role
*Maven seems like a genuine guy, like Stevie. Most wrestlers come across as fake corporate frauds. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson being the most guilty of this.*
I much rather chill with Maven over The Rock tbh.
If youre gonna retool Maven do a joint ongoing project with Stevie. He can provide the technical analysis and you can provide the storytelling!
I wish Maves just shoot a promo on Stevie totally unannounced that would have been funny
Now I want to see Stevie and James interview Bret Hart.
Hey Maven guys here
So who is this shadowy 27 year old marketer that was able to harness Reddit and the IWC the way they did to get Maven everywhere?
I remember when Maven first started his channel because his first video came up on my recommendeds the day he released it so maybe it was just luck of the algorithm for me.
Assuming it’s closer to an org that mass produces content creators
It is curious.
So was this done back before the summer?
Full circle
Goddammit I love WSI! Well done!
Nice to see these guys being the wise elders spreading their knowledge instead of being the broken down old men with sour grapes
Maven and Stevie tag team coming to TNA confirmed 😂
Hey maven and James. Guys here

1000th view. You’re welcome
Maven doesn't look nearly 50 tbh
1:46 beats him awake 👀

Maven gives me lanny poffo vibes
Both Stevie and Maven may very well be good human beings. But anyone that doesn't go back and reconsider the Benoit tragedy narrative in light of Vince McMahon's exploits, is an absolute idiot.
6:43 don’t change what got you here Maven
Look at ice spice , she got skinny now she falling off
I appreciate it, but I wondered if James would have done the interview if Maven's channel wouldn't be that successful, but just based on the facts that Maven and Stevie are friends.

Have you seen some of the ppl who have got interviews on here? Get a clue
Stevie copied maven
Wait, is Maven either gay or bi? From this video, his partner seems to be his business partner.
@@Halbared Yeah, I later discovered this. Fair enough! Still awesome to see him having this youtube revival regardless.
Stevie being annoyingly positive is hilarious to me
Like the opposite of right to censor
Is Maven trying to claim Hulk's tittle. The heavyweight champion of bullshitting.
None of you believe this guy do you?
Did I miss Maven claiming to have experienced a 400 day year or being asked to play bass for Metallica at some point?
Hey guys, maven here, now! Lol
That Dude Rene Dupree left his YT Channel
Ah dang, for real? I've watched a few Cafe de Rene clips and thought it was decent. Maybe not as awesome as Maven and Stevie's channels, but still
Maven is still nice looking, aging well.
No shame, in being bald!
Especially when you're hot. 😍
u sound thirsty, girl
Bald don't Fold.
Hey guys, maven here, now! Lol
