Beautiful throughout, abetted by the "harpsichord or organ" as noted above. What is the title of, and who is the painter? I am sorry, for my lack of knowledge! But despite these short comings, I do love what I hear and see!

Dear Charles. Thanks for your comment! The concert is entitled "Concerto for Org/hpd in C, (MH41 / P55), 19 Dec ?1761". The painter is Johann Georg Platzer (1704-1761). Greetings,

Very , very beautifull! One of the most beautiful concerts composed by Haydn! Strangely, on the internet I can't find historical information about this concert. In what year was it composed?

      Concerto for harpsichord, viola & orchestra in C (MH 41 / Perger 55), 19 December 1761. Greetings ;-)

Thank you! A curious thing is that listening to the first part of this concert from minute 0:58 to 1:12 (then repeats itself) it reminds me of the beautiful and famous adage of Joseph's cello concerto n.1 in C. The date 1761 of the two compositions matches both. Is it a coincidence? Probably before Joseph passed to the Esterhazy court, Michael and Joseph were more in touch also musically. From historical information from 1757 to 1761 Michael's creativity far exceeds that of Joseph and it is not excluded for me that Joseph copied certain ideas from Michael. These are just my deductions.
