I have been struggling over the last couple of years because I was made redundant and cannot find a job. Most recently feeling useless because I am no longer independent and now dependent on my husband and is a housewife. Thank you for this word to continue trusting God while he gives me time to rest and reset. To know that His plans for me are greater than I ever imagined.
Being a homemaker is a very imperative job! You are the glue to your family! Peace, be still. Rest knowing that God sees you, and gave you a husband who will honor you in every season, not look down on your role!

I haven’t heard the whole message yet, but I know this is for me. I’ve been on antidepressants for years and at times stopped them, as Shelia did. Never a good idea for me. Recently, I’ve actually had to increase the dosage and that hurt my pride. But I do get that this isn’t Heaven and there’s so much more to look forward. I’ve got struggles here, but I’ve also got the love of Christ and the Spirit living in me. I’m clinging to the future that is promised, secured in hope and resting with joy.

The key point of Sabbath would have been to mention the days. Sundown Friday to sundown Saturday is sabbath. Not Sunday. This is a great message but give the facts on everything.
My husband got fired from his job for helping out a friend and they twisted it and claimed he did something against the rules. He sells cars. He told his friend to come to the dealership next door, which has the same owner but is a different car brand. The friend called and said, they're ignoring me here, I'm going to your dealership. He said ok well I already left but someone will help u out. The other dealership claimed he stole their customer. The customer he recommended to go to their dealership, they ignored and then they left. His friend didn't even buy a car at the dealership he works at. But the management, threw a fit and got him fired from his place of work. It felt like the enemy was working against us because it was so odd and random. Everyone including management at his place of work were praising him before they decided to fire him. He was doing so well at this place, finally making the money he wanted to make. We felt it had been an answer to prayer and then that the enemy had sabotaged it. But we knew it was in God's hands. This was October 2023. We were finally renting a home that year after living with family for decades. I thought no Lord, not now please. He got other jobs but they just didn't pay as well. It was a rough season we had to pray through Christmas to make sure we would be able to celebrate it for our kids. God came through every time. And it took us 6 HARD months of faith and trust to see God's provision come through. In April he got a 3rd job since the firing and this one seemed promising. Well God answered our prayers and he is back to making the good amount he was making at the job that fired him, but at this new place of work. This place he even likes more, they appreciate him there and have already given him a promotion after a few months. We have been in the hole financially since Oct. Of last year and we are FINALLY digging our way out, paying bills and saving up to fix the rental we are living in so it looks nicer and feels more fresh. My point is, sometimes God takes us out of a situation we didn't necessarily want out of, to put us someplace better. And along the way it's hard and we don't understand and there may be problems but God handles them all when we trust Him and let Him guide us and handle it all. I'm sharing this testimony because God isn't going to leave you in the pit. Right now it's "I got fired" but later the testimony will say "I got fired but God handled it and put me someplace better, praise the Lord." Keep the faith if He did it for us, He will do it for you. I'm praying God puts you in the best jobs for you, specifically hand picked just for you. God bless you.

And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know” 1Corinth 8:1-2 maybe not your intentions but all of us are learning and unlearning. You are human like the rest of us, you are not infallible. Please reexamine how you show up in these spaces. Calling someone’s ideas “nonsense” is not the best approach. Humility is your best friend.
