Good recommendations. I bought my last new car 19 years ago with the financing/insurance/buying service of my insurance company, plus I researched the incentives and presented them to the car buying service.
My son buys only used vehicles which are used in business. He takes the per mile allowance and makes money. He bought a used car on line this year over 1000 miles away.
During the end of Covid 19, my girlfriend allowed herself to be bought out of her lease early for a few thousand dollars, took another lease. Now, as that lease is expiring and she is getting calls every day from a car broker, she is looking to buy when it goes off lease.

Thank you Clark Howard for the information and content, I would to share that with everyone about buying new car ( Toyota now especially in MI. State ) you will waiting from 3-6 months or more to get the vehicle. And, is look like each state waiting list is different. I wish if you able to do a video with more details about the new car supply and the different time frame on each state. Thanks and Good luck for both of you 😊

Honda, Toyota and Lexus are still looking for MSRP or greater on many models. Very frustrating.

    Realtor Interview Questions:
    Referrals are great.
How many clients are they serving?
    1. Do they have another job, non real-estate job?
    2. What were your last couple of sales? Within 2 months?
    What price point?
    3. How do they negotiate? How do they handle multiple offer situations? Does the seller have other things that are important to them?
    Recent comps in the area?
    Do you go to closings?
Do you go to home inspections?
Ask for a market analysis for last 4 years: In the Area we are interested in. Median sales price of homes. Average price per square footage.
Have they been in the market since 2005?
What did comps close at compared to the opening list price?

whether folks are buying new or used for example, a Toyota’s average life span if properly maintained is 13-17 years and/or 250-300,000 miles!

Good morning everyone 😊. I have a parent plus loan less than $13,000 and thinking about transferring it over to an interest-free cc to have it paid off in a year. Do you think that’s a good idea?

    • @ross-smithfamily6317
      @ross-smithfamily6317 ปีที่แล้ว

If you can realistically pay off the amount in one year, I think it's a great idea - unless there is a high fee for the transfer. If you don't pay off the full transfer balance within a year, you'll be charged a much higher interest rate than you would be charged on your student loan.

Double check with your parent plus loan servicer to be sure they accept credit card payments. Many do not. If yours does, keep in mind that you will no longer be covered under federal protections like lower repayment options, deferments and forbearances. So if you experience an unexpected financial hardship over that year (i.e. loss of job, medical emergency, etc...), favorable repayment options will be nonexistent.
With that being said, it could be a good way to pay off the loan interest-free if you're pretty confident you can pay it off in a year without any hiccups. 💚

Always remember, the finance guy, is a salesman too. They’ll try to sell you a lot more than just financing.

If it's taxable, it's negotiable. You don't need to pay the price they ask for. Go thru a credit union for finance. ALWAYS ask what's the out the door price. "NEVER" give them a monthly payment that you can afford!!! NEVER!!

Most real-estate agents are just there to make money , I fired 2 agents and went with a fee only online company to list on the MLS, saved thousands. I got an issue when someone's paycheck depends on how much house they sell me.

@@theoracle6881 I went with 1% fee agent, put about 20k in my pocket. Only reason I wanted an agent is access to contractors that actually show up. That part was very valualble where I live.

Don't buy if you don't want a car. Drive it until you can no longer drive it. Let them ALL hemorrhage at the lots. Don't bend over for no one!! You are the driver. Not them!! 😮😂

My daughter opened up a vanguard account awhile back, I am worried that if things get worse that they will fold up and run away with hers and everybody else’s money is that possible or am I being paranoid 😅

You definitely do not need any "advisor," and you certainly don't want that "GO" nonsense. The TDF is perfectly fine. For taxable accounts, just use total market index ETFs. And Fidelity actually has FOUR TDF sets of funds. It's a shame. :( Only one of them id valid. Fidelity Freedom Index.
