ASIMO Retires/March 2022 Special Demonstration @ Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama, TOKYO

The regular demonstrations of ASIMO at the Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science) and the Honda Welcome Plaza both came to an end on March 31st.
The scenes are from a special presentation at the Honda Welcome Plaza in Tokyo held during the last month before retiring, where ASIMO shows us some of his favorite moves.
The ASIMO character will continue to be used in merchandise, but we no longer have the opportunity to view the live performances.

compared to boston dynamics' humanoid, i'd still prefer asimo. because i feel deep in my gut that boston's humanoid model and other projects are primed for weaponization, and i don't look forward to that kind of future

True, but im sure the funding for military work is a lot, which is what they need to produce the best. The dog would be useful for military use, but not harmful. Its plenty of years away until sending a robot into combat would become an option. asimo is still my favorite too though
