baritone player here, please do NOT put multiple splits to fill in a chord, this can make it hard to divide the section even further. example: letter C ms 1. 3 different notes for the first baritones to play. thats 5(!!!) divisions within an already divided section that makes it hard to address and diagnose issues
Thanks for the insight! This was never intended to be played as is, just tried to make this sound as full as possible without adding other low brass staves (kinda keeping the baritone parts just as low brass not specifically bari). I’ll definitley keep that in mind for any arrangements made for actual ensembles though!
@@outofstepbaritone Thanks!!! I’ve only ever been a percussion member/arranger/instructor, so your insight will definitley prove valuable if I ever end up arranging for a full band! Thanks for the feedback :)
can i use this and make a full-fledged version with woodwinds and a more expansive brass section?? I love it and I might ask my band director about it!! (ofc I will credit)
There are woodwind parts already, I just left them out of the video score to avoid making the lines too small. There are some rights limitations if a band were to actually use this, that’s beyond me. I’ve been on staff but have never dealt with music rights. I also am not sure how I feel about sharing this for now, this arrangement has some very personal meaning to me and I need to think before sharing it to be reworked. Even if I don’t share the file, I encourage you to try and make your vision come true! This piece is relatively easy to transcribe because the harp part arpeggiates all of the chords. If I do decide to share though, this is a Sibelius file that uses VDL, which would cause its own host of issues unless you have the same setup.
Yes! I’m using Noteperformer4 for all winds and Virtual Drumline 2.5 for percussion. I highly reccomend both if you have a beefy computer with a decent amount of RAM (Noteperformer isn’t too demanding but VDL is).
delicious
this is really cool, i love the way it builds up!
This is incredible!!!
HOLY SHIT THIS IS INSANE
This is sick
Super underrated!
hell yea this rules

@@whenuraquar that's fine! i'm already working on 2 pieces so the idea of topping a third one was kind of unrealistic anyhow. thanks for informing me!
Is this in Sibelius? The brass sounds are so good

Could you post the drumline part?
Sorry for the delay, but once I find the time I’ll link it in the description and let you know :)
this would be great for a pie rat show tbh
