Not peeing in the shower is a huge waste of good, drinkable water. The pee will absolutely not harm you unless you have some rare illness I don't know of. There are tons of campaigns that encourage people to pee in the shower, you wash everything off instantly anyway, so why waste tons of liters of clear, drinkable water on the toilet. :l
And honestly, most people do - they just don't want to admit it because, for some reason, they think it's gross.

Peeing during shower might not be idea in some cases. For example if the person has strong smelling urine and the toilet does not have a separate shower section. It may leave a urine smell in the toilet.

I live in Vancouver, Canada. The Floathouse we have here is 75$ for a single float. The better deal with them is 35$ a year membership which gives you 2 floats for 90 minutes a month plus 5 more free that you must use within 4-5 weeks. Just $25 each time for an extra swim after you used your 2 free a month.
Inquiring I found each pod is cleaned for 90 full minutes between floats.
I plan to get my year long membership in a couple weeks I'll let you know what they're like here.

I don't know where you guys are at. but in Portland Oregon there is something similar to that but it's a room that you float in there's no salt so you would be able to do it together and it's just deep enough that you're able to float they don't have to add the salt for you to float. and you do it for like an hour.
