Yeah, but one thing still bugs me... where's all the equality again? The thing ladies keep whining and yammering about for the past 8 years. Did it disappear? Or was it never there to begin with?
Reading the actual article and it shows the majority of the low paid workers were actually men. Now, in the U.K. labor laws make it illegal to pay women less for doing the same work as men and looking into it, that isn't the case, they got the same.
What it actually is that people doing different skilled jobs got paid a different hourly rate - all legal and correct but they tried to spin it, "workers were not getting paid the same."
Even those on the same rate had workers working different hours (men typically work longer overtime.)

Yeah, there are some answers that might change the way this sounds. I just have a couple questions.
We also need more data regarding what types of jobs and titles are being compared across the board. For instance, a SR level FX artist would automatically be paid more than an entry-level or first-year FX artist. A catering manager would definitely be paid less than a financial accountant's manager. Right now, this is just generalization data, which blurs the whole picture to feed a bias on one side of the aisle, which isn't helpful to anyone long-term.

Trying to compare salaries this way is *always* going to look like the F's are being underpaid... which is exactly what the F activists *want* to happen... because it helps to promote their narrative.
Among other things, guys with no skill or experience, like young men just entering the workforce, can, and *will* offset their lack of experience by doing jobs which are much more physically demanding, such as hard labor, or more dangerous, in order to add to their wages.
Meanwhile, a great many F's will also do jobs that are tipped, because they can make more... and THEN they can also under-report it, to pay less taxes... which makes it *appear* as if they are making less than, for example, some busboy.
Further, men will work more hours in order to earn more... in very large part because we are expected to pay for the dates... and they are not.
You know what's really weird? Despite all the talk of operation linebacker level of review bombing, rotten tomatoes and all the other review websites haven't block the reviews from the general public, they've done it before, why not now?

Is it a physically intensive job v office job? Those things matter if you're trying to compare apples v oranges. Apples v apples though, if there is any form of pay disparity, Disney has some splaining to do
We need more info to know what is really going on here. What is a female camera operator with 5 years of experience getting versus a male operator with the same experience? Stuff like that is the real question here.

The Force Awakens was the first movie I watched I could see the mistakes.
Once I found out about the Last Jedi I refused to watch it.
I went to watch Solo as I felt it didn't deserve to be punished for Rian's fumble.
It was okay, not great and until the end of S2 of the Mandalorian it looks like it might improve.
