There's a Shermans 'Callipoe' on one of the trains. Those rocket launch units were actually fitted in the field in North West Europe, they were not on the tanks when they were being transported across the US after manufacture and before they were shipped to England on one of the Convoys.

I like the happy kid jumping up and down around 3:40. The army train made me jump up and down too!

As someone who served in Army mechanized units, I love the concept and like the tarps and wheel chocks. But the .50 caliber machine guns on the turrets in transit? Someone would have signed for those and you could remove them by pulling two pencil-sized metal pins and remove them in seconds. Nobody ever shipped vehicles with the crew-served weapons in place, and it's something any old solider would spot right away (yet, it's a detail almost everyone does the same with).

well the one with the machine gun would not look at cool without the gun lol

We locked ours in the tracks.... and then we had a train detail that rode the rails with. The train and pulled security at stops, and stateside...

Howdy. I hope this message find you and yours well and in good spirits. Thank you for that video it was awesome !!! If I may ask, what make's are the cars and the locomotive's ? I know about the diecast and plastic models, I build WWll model's in 1/48 scale because it's something I love to do. Since what i built is the same scale as the set I'm going all in lol. I got my 4 year old grand son an O Gauge Lionel Lionchief United States Steam Freight WWll train set for Christmas and I'm going to do my first layout for him and it's a big one. The layout is going to be 11' by 20' and it's going too be WWll themed, with a motor pool, air field and town, if it fits lol. IV not seen a WWll only layout on TH-cam as of yet so I thought I'd tryin be the first to do one though it may take a year or two or three lol. Thank you for your time Sean

This is great. Are the vehicles all from model kits or die cast? If they are model kits, where did you find them?

There is a Mix of Kits and diecast. Any good hobbyshop in your area should have Military Models in Kit form. If not you will have to go online to find the kits or Diecast that you are looking for. I hope that this has helped you.
