Hi Rich, I bet your French is better than mine… I was terrible at it in school! Sounds like a great trip. I know what you mean about balancing time with family and feeding your love for records 😂 I had the same issue visiting Berlin, but like you, I have an extremely patient wife 🙂 Yesss! Pills, Thrills & Belly Aches… love it! The Mondays are such a massively underrated band. Queen Is Dead is my fav Smiths album. Boys Don’t Cry is a beauty too! Never saw that Graceland cover before. Brilliant haul pal… sounds like a great trip. Cheers for sharing pal, Jack
I might have failed to mention that I was kicked out of high school. Thanks for the kind words and I hear you - a patient wife is a good thing to have.
If you go back to Paris, reach out, I'm from there, and wrote guides about Paris stores, I know most of the tinest places where you can find records, depending on your objectives. Record Station is decent, good records and condition, but tends to be on the higher end of prices for Paris, especially for desirable records.
That's a seriously kind offer that I 100% intend on taking advantage of - it can be daunting for a tourist and I had mentioned in an earlier video that I was there last year and really didn't find anything to my liking because we were in such a hurry I just picked what was close to us and was disappointed. I found the only really high prices he had was for U.S. imports, which I thankfully have no need of but thanks so much and I will get in touch next time around.
Hi Rich! Glad you had a good trip to Paris! En Francais! Does your TH-cam channel have an email account? I could send you my mailing address if you have some postcards. I only have my personal email account and don't want to post it in the comments for fear of hacking. I have the first two Happy Mondays albums but on compact disc. I still have my original copy of The Queen is Dead from way back in high school when it was first released. I also have The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway on vinyl. That Siouxsie compilation is great and I have a copy too, but on compact disc. Look for Hyaena, Through the Looking Glass, Peepshow, all good Siouxsie albums. Black Celebration is probably my favorite Depeche Mode album. All those records you showed looked Mint!
Been catching up on all things Vinyl Community! I'm way out of the loop. Sick collection!
Just stumbled upon your channel, you have a really great music taste I have to say, amazing finds!!
You are very kind to say so, thanks very much! Hope you enjoy some of the other vids as well.

I went to Paris back in the early 90's but didn't get to dig. Nice finds.
Damn, imagine what you might have been able to find back then and I bet the prices would have been interesting.
