Matt: Got a pro-tip of my own here... if you've got (or find) any old and unfranked Australian stamps, you can use them too. Australian stamps don't expire (at time of writing), so as long as they're in dollars/cents, and not pounds/shillings/pence, then you'll be able to use them. The down-side to that is they're obviously in lower denominations, so they will almost cover the entire envelope! 🤣 I've sent off those yellow envelopes you have, and it's been full of 'Christmas 1974' stamps, 'Australia's Bicentenary' (1988) stamps, etc. Always makes me laugh sending them off, and barely being able to see the address, or having the stamps spill over to the reverse of the envelope. I'm all for recycling (and it saves money!). Just don't lick the back of the stamp... you'll be ill! 😄 Royal Mail have now put an end to in back in the Motherland, as they've introduced the 'quirky code' (QR) to stamps, and mandated that every stamp you send will have to have that on it. It's only a matter of time before Australia Post follow suit... so be mindful.
Reject shop padded mailers perfect Dvd size can get a pack of 6 for like $3 have been sending my DVDs in those with stamps for years! Never once had an issue. Glad you’ve decided to change it you were missing out on money! Plus the padded envelopes keep the DVDs a little safer too

Hi Matt, I've always posted my DVDs untracked but I write the customer's phone number in top left corner. I've noticed it appears on my receipt, so I'm pretty sure it acts as a tracking number somehow. Cheers
Just be weary with changing to untracked. Need to go in and change all your postage to that or eBay will start to 'hold' your funds for not suppling tracking. Has just happened to me recently. They will hold it for 2 days past the due delivery date.

Bring back some big bloke size Pittsburgh Steelers & Boston Celtics Stuff, all I can get here In Newcastle, NSW is 2XL sizes but I'd like to get my hands on 3XL-4XL sizes for my personal collection as I'm a fan of them teams. There’s only a Woolies as a major food shop, so you can imagine it’s utterly ridiculous in summer….and tough when it’s a small town to compete with thousands suddenly descending and jostling for very few services

just be careful with the cheap dvds as I used to do this with cheap video games and now I have very high item not received even though people get them . a lot of people won't mark received, its not that anyone opens a case its more there is no way to say delivered ,please do research I have stopped doing the stamps and envelopes great videos btw
Are you trying to send them in the smallest envelope? Because they're only for things under 5mm. I've had auspost lose a video game in a tracked mailer and they refunded me for it. They don't care what you post in them, only the small one.

Just with the stamps….up to 125g = 2 stamps. Over 125g to 250g = 3 stamps. Over 250g to 500g = 5 stamps 😊 20mm thickness on all large letters.

Yep, i pack my cheaper dvds in a padded envelope. But note if they weigh over 125g you need to put $3.60 i stamps :)
And if they weigh between 250 grams and 500, you're better off sending them in a tracked envelope.

I use bubble mailers to send DVDs & video games, 172 x 220 untracked, it's still $2.40 for a single disc.
The discs will flip around and the cases will most likely get damaged if you use those unpadded envelopes.
