It used to be the only way to farm event mech mods after the event ended. The drop rates are horrific as you have to combine a random tileset with random drops. Now you can buy the same mods from bird 3 later.
I'd speed run this guy since whole vaults are on rotations. After 100+ kills whispers dropped so I could buy my necramech repair. Showed plenty of people how to get here though.
Originally there are no boss in that hole, not even a dead Necramech. Only materials and mods. Then DE decided to add Dead Necramechs and an Enemy inside to make it interesting.
@@stealthcobra1525 Before the Arcana update, ISO vault is the best place to farm lots of stuffs due to only spawn 1 room and the vault opening instance are much shorter and didn't confusing at all, I always farming there for loots mainly for that bugged out mining Thaumatic Disstilate and Nmechs token for standing. Nowadays the ISO vault become a little bit obsolete to play and well the additional room is interesting but felt a little bit too much of a chore instead of just farm this farm there since the reward really ...ermm... bad pool.
They really should change the loot on this to either random necramech part, Residual arcane, or sporotrix part or even 20 thaumica or all. All the Rng needed to even get here and its mods that have been added fo sanctum later. Devs must have forgotten about this.
I Discovered it by accident when I was farming the iso vault for MR stuff and I thought the same thing, that's where you get rare necramech mods from. Cool tidbit 😁👌

Yeah, I also found that by random chance. "Wait. What are these? Are these like those things in the fight against Nihil? ... OOOOOOHHHHHhhhhh". Was a fun little discovery for me. But discoveries like this are one of the reasons I regularly go out solo to just explore every little nook and cranny I can find in a map. Found a lot of Kurias (before the Orokin Eye existed) and other random stuff that way.

If u drop a locpin in that room ull know wen the tileset is there. Nekros can despoil the creature down there for 2 mods per run. Used to check it the tileset was up on bounty change ( even if it was up sometimes it wasnt connected to the isovault tunnels qq) and then run out. Go to mom. Pop the iso vault its in from OUTSIDE do that room. Go back inside to reset it and go back out to repeat. Was a decent 2 hour farm for 25 to 50p depending which of the 2 rare necramech mods id get

Bro I always knew there was something on Deimos when they first released it and I saw heard there wasn’t a secret/major boss after eidolons and mother orbs I found it strange almost as if there was something not fully found. Although it’s not much this proves it thank you for posting this I never would’ve known
4K hours LR2 and I’ve never seen this before, it looked so damn cool right up until it was just a normal Deimos mob but slightly bigger. Disappointing but still cool
Noone plays the grenade game in the room but I've never had much of anything spawn in there. Those look like two standard Deimos major enemies and you cut all the rest of the combat to make them look tough
And here I am still trying to kill the one boss in sanctum for the ship hands cosmetic, but I am not good enough. Never knew about this, so cool! Thanks for sharing

I've known about this for a very long time, I figured it was just common knowledge because nobody ever bothered with it, finally did it solo and found I got nothing worthwhile from it so I figured "oh, this is why nobody cares, rooger...."
The boss was one of the earliest boss in the game. It is not too difficult to take care of as your video shows. A variation becomes the boss that grants infested zaw parts on Earth alerts.

Had no idea that dude spawned down there. The opening had always been just empty for me. Does it have to be during a vault bounty or just a vault? wonder if he just never spawns cause of too many other enemies? Sometimes there might be an old mech down there but normally it's just empty or was it a recent thing?
Pretty sure it's been there forever. It can also drop endo instead of a mod, so it's hit or miss. But still a good option early on. Also if it spawns, the tileset will remain the same until the next bounty rotation, if you're fast enough to grind it.
