I really have no words. MashaAllah, JazakAllah for this amazing discussion. Being a woman I can also relate to this issue as I have also struggled with this in my teens. It takes a part if you away and some parts of and leaves you broken. Even after so many years the images haunt me even though I was Alhumdulillah not an addict. Yet the most effective tadbeer that helped me getting control of my nafs was fasting, & it is also stated in a hadith that wo log ( especially youngsters) jo nikah nai krskte, they should prefer fasting on a continuous basis. Believe me its not that hard to fast as we think, its the month of july here in karachi and the temperature is hitting 33° to 36° & might increase with time but though ive started fasting its like being habitual of a particular thing, jab roza rakhne ki adat hojati hai then you automatically start to feel good while in the state of fasting, and in addition to that it boost your spirituality plus your connection with ALLAH swt increases and worship becomes a matter or peace and enjoyment for soul. MAY ALLAH SWT PROTECT AND GUIDE US ALL. The most effective things that in my perpective are necessary in todays era for a person to get protected from sinful acts are: 1: A person should have a company of a shaykh a murabbi that has the ijazat from any one from four orders of tasawwuf or all. 2: Fasting.

It's soo sad that people are okay with having a gf/bf at a young age when they are just a college going student but feel shame to get nikah done when they are 20-23 . Our society has made nikah extremely difficult. It is has become soo difficult to protect one's chastity until marriage. “Allahuma Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bini'matika ‘alayya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta.”
(O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no god except You. You have created me, I am Your slave, I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon).
It's soo sad that people are okay with having a gf/bf at a young age when they are just a college going student but feel shame to get nikah done when they are 20-23 . Our society has made nikah extremely difficult. It is has become soo difficult to protect one's chastity until marriage. The age of doing nikah is increasing day by day.Nikah was supposed to protect our chastity and help us protect our gaze and build a better future, but sadly it has been reduced to mere formality.
