5:30 I'm from South Africa and I look at Nas as my big bro, sometimes I sit and think how the world would have been if 2 Pac was still alive. 2 Pac and Nas I call them fearless Generals , they tell the untold with no filter. Respect family
man i swear on everything this is the MOST energy I've ever seen from Nas(aside from when he blew up and aired out Hot 97). I wish there was more behind the scenes footage of Nas just chillin with his crew and being in his comfort zone. Cause seeing the "King Poetic", "Verbal Assassin" singing about the man in the mirror, and tellin me how I "don't know nothin bout dem eggs and dem grits" HAD ME WEAK lmao. I still have trouble believing its him lol
Stillmatic is probably my favorite nas album. I just love the whole vibe of the album top to bottom...from the ill ass intro sampled from stacey lattisaw " let be be your angel " ..to the very last record...Nas spazzed on every record..word !
I remember watching this on MTV in High School b4 i even been in a study just writing poems and learning the bar structure.Whats even more crazy my mentor out here in East Oakland @ 7:17 The Worlds Freshest aka DJ Fresh was Deejaying 4 Nas.Who knew years later I would get to do countless songs with him at the community center in East Oakland him and my other mentor Bicasso from "The Living Legends" and later we would from a group with his little brother Voodoo Lion aka Phone Home called "Alien Art Gang" we on soundcloud and got new music and videos on the way. Also DJ Fresh is the hardest working DJ and producer in the Bay with countless albums w/Freddie Gibbs,Raekwon,Freedie Curren$y,Bicasso "Rebel Music" classic underground album so underated,The Grouch,The Jacka (Mob Figaz),Mitchy Slick, and he also Living Legends tour DJ. Also his older brother is Dj Dummy Commons main DJ. Nas is in my top 3 next 2 Andre 3000 and 2 Pac. Check out all them projects and artists I named if u in 2 real hip hop from the soul.

Love nas but been bumping the Blueprint lately, didn’t hear it til last year lol
@@brandonmcalister416 Don't be ashamed. I discover new old music all the time myself. There's a great multitude of works out there to be found.
@@thamsanqahadebe5778 Right, rewind is dope! Has always come with different concepts. I love 2nd childhood.
@@thamsanqahadebe5778 I'm always looking for old classic r&b songs from 70s and 80s. Whenever I discover a gem I add to my playlist.
