    i was always bothered by guitar one shots because they never sounded anything like a guitar to me but when you layed down that chord in the right order it blew my mind how realistic it sounded without any strumming or velocity changes. i'm scared and excited

    Loved that video! But I have a few things I'd like to throw into that whole guitar topic. It's not meant to be negative, it's just some constructive feedback.
    Actually u don't play all 6 strings if you play chords. It really depends on the chord it self. often you need to left out strings in order to make it sound clean and not muddy. if you lets say play a D min Chord or a D Maj Chord you don't hit the E an A string. So it really depends on where you put the chords on the fretboard. Also its always strum and never played at the same time.

      Is there a process for determining when this happens?

    • @MrWepx-hy6sn
      @MrWepx-hy6sn 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MJ-qv9ib Depends on your chord and it's variation. For "open chords" (the classic "cowboy chords - C, E, G, A, D) you can play the 6 strings and add bass to your chords. But if you transpose the chord for example to the middle of the freatboard, there are different ways to play and even create the chords. It's not same playing A as an open chord than an A chord starting from the 5th fret, simple chord there would be a normal powerchord A on the low E, E note on the A string and the octave on the D string. If you play it like that, strumming the six strings creates unnecessary noise and sounds like shit unless that's what you are specifically going for (and even doing that without sounding like absolute trash compactor noise takes skill)

  • @vincevangoat1
    @vincevangoat1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Okay but it varies from chord to chord you don‘t always play all strings when playing a chord eg one of the easiest Am is only 5 upper strings and basically 50% of all others too.
    also when you hold ur fingers to create a chord on the frets the tuning obviously changes and you can also do a powerchord where basically all notes are strummed at same time.
    Imo what makes guitar sound real is just the timing and velocity randomised + fret and strum noises and glides and sweeps when you change chords.

  • @cnmgamingvideos3892

    Kinda not how a guitar works no offense. Yes you can apply it like that, but when your on a certain string and hold on the fret and the close you go to the bottom of the string board the higher the pitch goes, like that high E he was talking about, on the sheet music for guitar (tab) it will be 0 fret because that’s what the note is for the string if you plucked it without holding onto the board but if u hold the fret board but lower it will go above the E
