@Halim Yacob lol have you actually read those verses you are quoting at least?! We all know it is all cut and paste. Do be so ignorant and lazy. Educate yousellf about what you are trying to say to others.
@Halim Yacob Quran (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things." Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not." Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time. From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding merchant caravans for loot. (See also: Response to Apologists) Quran (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help." (See also: Response to Apologists) Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority". This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be 'joining companions to Allah'). (See also: Response to Apologists) Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward." The martyrs of Islam are unlike the early Christians, who were led meekly to the slaughter. These Muslims are killed in battle as they attempt to inflict death and destruction for the cause of Allah. This is the theological basis for today's suicide bombers. (See also: Response to Apologists) Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan (Satan)" The Arabic for the word "fight" is from qital, meaning physical combat. Quran (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks." (See also: Response to Apologists) Quran (4:95) - "Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame, etc.), and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred in grades those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and their lives above those who sit (at home).Unto each, Allah has promised good (Paradise), but Allah has preferred those who strive hard and fight, above those who sit (at home) by a huge reward " This passage criticizes "peaceful" Muslims who do not join in the violence, letting them know that they are less worthy in Allah's eyes. It also demolishes the modern myth that "Jihad" doesn't mean holy war in the Quran, but rather a spiritual struggle. Not only is this Arabic word (mujahiduna) used in this passage, but it is clearly not referring to anything spiritual, since the physically disabled are given exemption. (The Hadith reveals the context of the passage to be in response to a blind man's protest that he is unable to engage in Jihad, which would not make sense if it meant an internal struggle). (See also: Response to Apologists) Quran (4:101) - "And when you (Muslims) travel in the land, there is no sin on you if you shorten your Salat (prayer) if you fear that the disbelievers may attack you, verily, the disbelievers are ever unto you open enemies." Mere disbelief makes one an "open" enemy of Muslims. Quran (4:104) - "And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain..." Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense? (See also: Response to Apologists) Quran (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement" (See also: Response to Apologists) Quran (8:12) - "(Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels... "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle, given that it both followed and preceded confrontations in which non-Muslims were killed by Muslims. The targets of violence are "those who disbelieve" - further defined in the next verse (13) as those who "defy and disobey Allah." Nothing is said about self-defense. In fact, the verses in sura 8 were narrated shortly after a battle provoked by Muhammad, who had been trying to attack a lightly-armed caravan to steal goods belonging to other people. (See also: Response to Apologists)
So most Muslims don't understand how there can be 1 YHWH but 3 persons..... but they can believe 1 Quaran but 700 "perfect" same same (but different) versions? Hmmmmm?

@@zimma2330 My dear friend, as you know the Quran and the Bible tell us that Jesus Christ is the eternal, divine and uncreated Word of God. The Bible is a book written by human beings inspired by God that points, like all prophecy does, to God the Word becoming flesh and making us humans like God in eternal life and the divine nature. As God is love so we become love. This is the way of life. The person of Jesus Christ, which is absolutely singular, is the Word of God. He exists as perfect God in the divine unchanging nature, and as a true human being in the human nature he took from the Virgin Mary. The Word of God is a person who is both divine and human, and this is what the Bible teaches us. You have to agree that a recitation of Arabic words in the 7th century produced by Bedouin warlords is not the eternal, uncreated, and divine Word of God.

K P first problem the Birmingham manuscript is only two pages. Where are the other rest of 114 chapters? Second problem the Birmingham is different from hafs and it has variants. Look at the dots. They are different. So why use hafs? Third problem. Look at the dates 568 to 645. The first quran was compiled on 650 by uthman! Muhammad has no quran during his life. This manuscript rejects all islamic narratives.
I'd studied Qira'at (Quran reading science) & I'll list here some points: 1) Quran at first was never intended to be written as a manuscript; but rather to be spread "vocally" via trusted recitation then by repeated memorization. This goal was achieved during the life of Prophet Muhammad PBUH - for at least 10,000 follower after him - and over 22 years Quran had been revealed -a chapter by chapter- in which was supervised by the prophet to give the chapter its name and to sort them in order - even though when some "long" chapters were not revealed completely yet. Most of Meccan "earlier/shorter" chapters (86 out of 114; ~60% of Quran) were revealed completely in Mecca within the first 13 years and stayed stationary after that time while new chapters take place but although same kind of qira'at conditions applied to Quran as a whole. 2) Sources of all different narrations of Quran were simply the Sahaba (companions of the prophet) themselves, none of them tried to hide anything heard as they believed that the Quran is a kind of "hyper-text" which can be overloaded with more than one form/syntax/semantic/interpretation etc. For example, the most famous difference in qira'at is in chapter 1 "Al-Fatihah": verse no.4; which has two qira'at: (ملك يوم الدين \ مالك يوم الدين); one vowel letter difference in the first word translates to (King of Judgement Day \ Owner of Judgement Day). The above chapter is specifically the most frequent read chapter daily by all Muslims at least 17 times during every prayer - and so assuming that transmission errors which lead to such two different forms is excluded and the other assumption which is this verse was intended to be read using both words (but not at the same time). Most of the companions heard one form but also some others heard both forms in different occasions and when they were asked to teach others either they narrated only one qira'ah or they narrated both. Here is how more than one qira'ah come into existence and the people who took care of transmitting all such kind of differences of narrations (mostly at pronouncing some vowels/letters/tonation, but also in some cases could be changing of active/passive/spelling/verse counting, some cases come as fixed rules and others are irregular, in so there was a necessity for a new science to keep track of all complexities) 3) Many inaccurate things were mentioned such as counting of narrators as separate Qurans rather than to be mentioned as "Paths" according to Qira'at scholars. Names of people were elected to refer shortly to the famous reading in a specific regional place, not to honor the reciter himself. Some Narrators were counted twice for the same person having two different sources of qira'ah; such as with "Ad-Duri" or "Khalaf" You can listen to sample of a chapter of Quran read continuously with all possible 10 qira'at here: th-cam.com/video/ftzjGCJjrZY/w-d-xo.html

Like Allah using stars as missiles to throw at demons? Excellent source of science.
@Mahmood Ali The issue is multiple. For one, it's not just same word with different pronunciation but different words. For two, it's not just vowel differences but the rasm consonant letters. For three, it is entire words and sentences changed or missing. My comment is to popularize the term Schrödinger's Qiraat, but if you're on Pfander channel you should know all the many serious problems with the Quranic text as covered in the videos.
@Mahmood Ali The problem with your neat theory is that Uthman clearly told the committee that if there were any disputes in different recitation, write the finalized text in the Qurayshi dialect. Writing down the Qurayshi dialect needs the vowel marks. Which came 20 years after Uthman according to you. So how did Uthman achieve this fest of writing the Quran using vowel marks from the future?
@Mahmood Ali Wait wait let me see if I get you straight... You are saying that Uthman managed to record the Qurayshi dialect in textual form using only the rasm, without any diacritics? 🤔
@Mahmood Ali Then my question is how did UTHMAN get his team to write the Quran in the Qurayshi dialect if dialectical marks HAD NOT BEEN INVENTED YET???
It is very clear the lack of scientific consistency and/or approach or methodology in this matter. I can not blame them because they inherently lack the systematic way of dealing with any issue. The main problem here that though the British education worked hard with the Indians and Pakistanis to teach them this systematic and logic scientific thinking and still they come out and defend this RANDOMNESS !!!!.

@Md. Abdul Kadir Akash actually it's a corrupt text based on a false theory that is regularly updated, nestle aaland (NA26, NA27, NA28 etc). Here you find the bibles that are allways updated and have flaws, like NIV etc. Watch bob from soco films video on text criticism. King James follows the traditional church text and isn't changed. Want a very accurate bible, choose King James. Want a bible that's easy to understand in 2020 English, get NKJV because old fashion Shakespeare English is a bit hard to understand for some. NKJV may be less accurate and faithful to septuagint than KJV but it's like KJV with a bit of paint, so it's easy to understand. There are other bible translations but I know best the King James bible and every word or supposed "problems" in it I've checked out, from hell to unicorn to "Thou shalt not kill", turns out to be accurate. www.kjvtoday.com and www.biblehub.com to compare to hebrew or greek

@tigerarmyrule My friend, you seems know nothing about Islam and Qur'an - The quran belongs in this fascinating and rich tradition and is important largely??? The Quran did not depend on manuscripts as Christianity and Jewish, the Quran was orally revealed (Not written) with different reading (Qira'at) by God to the final prophet, Muhammad, through the archangel Gabriel. Muhammad did not write the Quran as he didn't know how to write. According to tradition, several of Muhammad's companions served as scribes and recorded and memorize the revelations (Note: The number of the companions of the Messenger of Allah reached more than 100 thousand companions, almost of them memorized and recited the Qur'an with different readings). Shortly after Muhammad death, and when the great and fastest expansion of the Islamic Empire, with millions of newly-converted to Islam Arabs and non-Arabs wishing to read and recite the Qurʾan, the Quran was compiled by the companions, who had written down or memorized parts of it. Caliph Uthman established a standard version, now known as the Uthmanic codex, which is generally considered the archetype of the Quran known today. In the next generation of Muslims (called Tabi'in) were many scholars who learned the readings (Qira'at) of recitation from the companions, the children of the companions and grandchildren of the companions taught them to others through centuries till now and will be continued (chains of reliable narrators). Centers of Quranic recitation developed in al-Madeenah, Makkah, Kufa, Basrah, and Syria, leading to the development of Quranic recitation as a science. By the eighth century CE, a large number of scholars were considered specialists in the field of recitation due to this, a new generation of recitation scholars has emerged who represent the distinct link of readings from Muhammad's time to the present and the future time those Al-Tabi'in includes : " Nafi‘ al-Madani, Ibn Kathir al-Makki, Abu 'Amr Ibn al-'Ala',Ibn Amir ad-Dimashqi, Aasim ibn Abi al-Najud, Hamzah az-Zaiyyat, Al-Kisa'i,Abu Ja'far, Ya'qub al-Yamani , Khalaf. " Most of their readings (Qira'at) were authenticated by chains of reliable narrators, going back to Muhammad (PBUH). The readings (Qira'at) which were supported by a large number of reliable narrators on each level of their chain were (called mutawaatir), and were considered the most accurate. " - because it was co-opted by an advancing Arab empire???? The second mistake, there is no something called the Arab empire in the time of Muhammad (PUBH), but the Arab was independent tribles. the first book was " - had arabising myths added to it and the literature surrounding it???? This is a big claim, which myths ??? example, please ??? My friend if you are in front of any postgraduate examiner you will fail because you are shown them null proofs.
Every time I watch you videos I get an advert from Islam say how great the prophet is. Hopefully this draws our brothers to the one true God and his Son.
It is common sense that it would not be possible to preserve a book/manuscripts letter by letter at a time of oral traditions and difficulties to keep record of written pieces in distant regions. I am now wondering if the meaning and the texts have been substantially changed, and if so in which direction? Can the changes be traced back, and how far back?

@K P Two turkish muslim scientists, professors, have examined all the oldest Quran fragments and manuscripts. Birmingham fragment contains surahs 19-21 only partially. These are preislamic stories of seven sleepers and Moses. The turkish scientists have concluded that there does not exist none fragment or manuscript from Mohammeds time, nor uthmans time, nor ibn Maliks time. Carbon dating hives is different thing than carbondating the text. For example in Sanaa fragment the turkish scientists found another text beneath with ultra violet light. The earlier text differs from the text above proving according them Quran developed, There was no finished text from Jennah tablet then. All the oldest Quran fragments are just small parts of Quran and whole manuscripts come a bit later. The texts are actually written 200-300 years after Mohammed. That does not differ from hadiths much. Even Hafs Quran has 7 variations today.
@K P The hives are older than the text. Only the texts carbondateing is is scientifically significant not the hives. Tubingen is only small fragment and the muslim turkish scientists did not regard it even uthmanic fragment⚠️⚠️⚠️
Dr Jay, it appears to me that the "god/idol" of allah is actually the spirit of pride and power. As a cult they idolise both. As a cult they highly value both. As a cult they seek both. Their version of paradise is made up of both. As a cult they DO NOT seek meekness, gentleness, servanthood, selflessness, sacrificial love, genuine fellowship. So their foundation is flawed, their religion is man focused, their god is hedonistic ... all equating to anti-Christ, anti YHWH.

It's interesting that the ad hoc hadith they use to explain the mess -comes centuries after muhammad -is inconsistently graded (though that could be from different isnads in fairness) -sometimes says 'this quran' (ie 'this recitation') rather than 'the quran' perhaps simply in reference to the 'recitation' of surah al furqan rather than the entire quran itself
Smart muslims will surely think that they have been fooled !!! These may different qurans will destroy islam , because allah himself says in the quran that he will protect the quran (see quran 15:9). Ḥafṣ: 3: 146) And many a Prophet qâṫal (قَـاتَـل \ قٰـتَـل, fought) and, along with him, many ribbîyûn (religious, learned men). But they never lost heart for that which did befall them in the Way of Allâh, nor did they weaken nor degrade themselves. And Allâh loves the Patient Ones. 147) And they said nothing but: “Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions, establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.” 148) So Allâh gave them the reward of the World, and excellent the reward of the Hereafter. And Allâh loves the Good-doers. Warsh: 3: 146) And many a Prophet quṫil (قُـتِـل, were killed) and, along with him, many ribbîyûn (religious, learned men). The subsequent Verses show that the Prophets (عليهم الصّلاة والسّلام) did not get killed, but were granted worldly victory over their enemies, so Ḥafṣ' version of the Qur’ân is correct and Warsh' version is wrong, at least in this case, so truly, Allâh has preserved the Qur’ân, even if different versions exist, like He preserved it before Caliph `Uthmân burned versions of the Qur’ân in dialects of Arabic other than the Qurayshî dialect (which he and the Prophet Muḥammad (صلّى ٱلله عليه وآله وسلّم) spoke in, therefore, this is the dialect in which the Qur’ân was revealed), so as to preserve the Qur’ân in its authentic dialect of Arabic. Let people properly read Ḥafṣ' and Warsh' versions, to see which ones contain the right words of the Qur’ân, and which ones contain words that are not in the actual Qur’ân, by reading them Verse-by-Verse, like I did.
K P I think you are missing the point. There are different variations of the Quran today. Uthman burned all the scriptures once he wrote his version so not even his version is the original. I have seen online very old scriptures and they are very similar to what is around today. Thanks for your input.
K P that’s not what the Hadith says I just says they were burned. This document you keep mentioning. Is it even the full Quran? I don’t think it is. I guess you can’t provide any evidence about false information in this video.
In Islam, Qira'at (Arabic: قِراءة, lit. 'recitations or readings') are "the different linguistic, lexical, phonetic, morphological and syntactical forms permitted with reciting the Quran". Pronouncing "Apple" in 1000 different ways doesn't make it a "Banana"
In fact , in our Islamic history n tradition , which has been ful of very famous scholars , philosophers , religious knowers had already dealt with the topic of the historicty n authenticity of Kuran manifested in the subject " Ulum Al-Qur-an" , had nolonger been a topic to new theories or thesis , because it has already consumed the need critics n even ideas . @@TH-camr-qt5rn , You're welcome bro. , but I am afraid I woudn't call my word as a compliment , it was rather a kind of challenge to your very humble knowledge . Through your attitude toward them I can tell you are a materalistic person adoring blindly money n worldy pleasures , very much fascinated by western modern liberalism . My earlier challenge to you was to test your philosophical knowledge about Trinity concept and wasnt to ask you about your personal view about religion. It was not a compliment . Add to your knowledge my following comment
"A main area of dispute in contemporary epistemology of religion revolves around the criteria and conditions for the epistemic justification for religious beliefs. One important discussion concerns whether some form of evidentialism applies to religious beliefs, in the sense that such beliefs have a positive epistemic status only if conclusive or at least highly probable proof can be given for them. In this book the Czech philosopher Vlastimil Vohánka takes a stance in this dispute. His main argument comes down to the assertion: religious experience aside, it cannot be evident (in a sense of psychological necessity, which is defined in chapter II) that the Christian doctrine of the Trinity of the Godhead is logically possible -- he calls this assertion "weak modal skepticism about the Doctrine of Trinity" or WMST (83). But if the doctrine of the Trinity is indeed essential to Christianity, it cannot be evident that Christianity is logically probable (in the sense that there is non-minimal support for the truth of the respective thesis). Nevertheless, Vohánka argues that it might still be the case that Christianity and in particular the doctrine of the Trinity are justified in a weaker sense than the logical one. Accordingly, he defends a form of weak skepticism about the epistemic justification of Christian religious beliefs.
The journey of the Quran, which began to be revealed to Prophet Muhammad during the month of Ramadan in 610, in its original form to the present day is a characteristic that none of the previous sacred books have. The companions of Prophet Muhammad, who were great people, played an important role in the compilation of the Quran, leaving an interesting story behind. 12 People During the 23 years of Muhammad's time as a prophet, the verses of the Quran were memorized as they were revealed, and about 42 scribes wrote the verses on different materials such as paper, cloth, bone fragments and leather. In ancient times, literacy was a skill that few people had and Muhammad himself did not know how to read or write. During the time of Caliph Abu Bakr, when 70 people who knew the Quran by heart (qari), were killed in the Battle of Yamama, Umar ibn al-Khattab became concerned and appealed to Abu Bakr in order to compile the Quran into a book. Abu Bakr formed a delegation under the leadership of Zaid ibn Thabit, one of the leading scribes. This delegation of 12 people, including famous figures such as Uthman ibn Affan, Ali ibn Abi Talib, Talha ibn Ubaydullah, Abdullah ibn Masood, Ubayy ibn Kab, Khalid ibn al-Walid, Hudhaifah and Saleem, came together in Umar's house and collected all the materials on which verses from the Quran were written. In addition, the verses memorized by the companions were heard as well. Each of them was asked to show two witnesses for the verse they read. Mushaf Thus, all the verses of the Quran that describe the creation of the universe and people, judgment day, exemplary stories of the people who lived before and the beliefs, worship, morals and legal bases that believers should obey were collected together into a single-volume book. Each of the verses was taught by the archangel Gabriel and declared by Prophet Muhammad. The verse is the name given to each sentence of the Quran and the surah is the name given to each part of the holy book. There are 6,236 verses, 114 surahs and about 323,000 letters in the Quran. Saeed ibn al-Aas, who was renowned for the beauty of his handwriting, wrote them down on gazelle skin. The writing used was the Arabic script of the time, which was already old and used commonly at that time in Hejaz. The companions reached a consensus that this writing, which was used by Prophet Ismail in Hejaz, is the writing of Muslims. The copy of the Quran was recited to the companions at a general meeting. There was no objection. So, a book called "mushaf" emerged, which means written verses. A total of 33,000 companions agreed that every letter of the Quran was in the right place. Then this mushaf was sent to Umar ibn al-Khattab. After his death, this book passed on to Hazrat Hafsah, the daughter of Umar and a wife of Prophet Muhammad. Dialect of Quraysh A difference was observed in the recitation of the Quran in the Armenia battles between Muslims from Damascus and Iraq during the period of the third caliph, Uthman. Hudhaifah, one of the companions, went before the caliph on his way back from an expedition and asked him to prevent this. On the 25th year of the hijra (647), Uthman gathered a delegation attended by Abdullah ibn al-Zubair, Saeed ibn al-Aas and Abd al-Rahman ibn Harith under the leadership of Zaid ibn Thabit. All of them, except for Zaid, were from Quraysh. Uthman said that the dialect of Quraysh should be preferred if they were to fall into conflict with Zaid regarding the dialect, since Muhammad was from the Quraysh tribe. The Quran had been revealed in seven dialects of the Arabic language of the time. The first Muslims who were literate could easily read the writing of their own language, but somewhat differently, since at the time the Arabic script did not have diacritical marks to differentiate letters or vowel symbols. For example, those from the Tameem tribe pronounced the letter "sin" as "te" and read the word "nas" as "nat." It was diverse and convenient, and did not change the meaning. The delegation brought the original mushaf from Hafsah. In this mushaf, the surahs were not separated from each other. The surahs were sorted according to the order of their descent in Ali's manuscript and according to their lengths in the manuscript of Abdullah ibn Masood. Now the verses were written in the Quraysh dialect. The surahs were arranged in rows, separated from each other regarding their length and alignment with each other. The order of the surahs was not based on the order the archangel Gabriel gave them to Prophet Muhammad, but on the consensus of the companions. Seven copies The old copies were destroyed to prevent future conflicts. Because of this, there are some Shia sects that accusing Uthman of changing the Quran. From the new copy, some mushafs were also written on parchment and sent to different places such as Bahrain, Damascus, Basra, Kufa, Yemen and Mecca, accompanied by a qari. There are also rumors that copies were sent to Egypt and Jazeera. The copy that stayed with the caliph was called al-Mushaf al-Imam (the head mushaf). There is no difference between the mushafs recited around the world today since they were all copied from original copies. Thus, the Quran was written during Muhammad's lifetime, while its compilation was done during the caliphate of Abu Bakr and it was copied during the caliphate of Uthman. Uthman also established special schools for the correct recitation and writing of the Quran. During the caliphate of Ali, saw the introduction of diacritical marks. During the time of Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik, vowel marks were also added. Since then, countless Muslims have memorized the Quran. In the month of Ramadan, the entire Quran is recited in the Tarawih prayer at the Kaaba. Even the slightest mistake can stand out to Muslims who know it well from all around the world. Original mushafs Some of these first seven mushafs have disappeared over time. Today, in Topkapı Palace and the Museum of Turkish-Islamic Arts in Istanbul, there are mushafs from Uthman and Ali's period. One of them was handwritten by Uthman, and the other two by Ali. While the copy in Egypt was in the Mosque of Amr ibn al-Aas, it was presented to Ottoman Sultan Selim II and brought to Topkapı Palace after the conquest of Egypt. Some claim that this is in fact the copy from Medina and that the last survivor of the Abbasid family took it with him while escaping to Egypt from the Mongol massacre. It is said that due to a blood-like stain on it, this is the mushaf that Uthman read while he was martyred. Other mushafs belonging to the first period of Islam are displayed in Al-Hussein Mosque in Cairo, the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, the British Library in London, Hast Imam Library in Tashkent and other museums. A newly opened museum in Mecca also features verses of the Quran written on bones and stones. The verses written on rocks and stones in the seventh century in Arabia have also survived to the present day.

Two Quran fragments unknowingly held since 1936 in the University of Birmingham’s manuscript collection have been definitively dated to the era of Muhammad’s life. It is this last point of controversy that the Birmingham discovery illuminates. Clearly, Quranic verses with a very close match to the version we have today were being transcribed during the Prophet’s lifetime.
Surah Al-Hijr, Verse 9: إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ Surely We have revealed the Reminder (Quraan) and We will most surely be its guardian. via iQuran The entire Quran was memorized verbatim (word for word) by many of the Prophet’s Companions (males and females). Among them were Zaid ibn Thabit, Ubayy ibn Ka’b, Muadh ibn Jabal, and Abu Zaid. Abu Bakr decided to appoint Zaid ibn Thabit to compile all of the written verses of the Qur’an into one collection, using only those verses which had been written in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ himself. These manuscripts would then be verified by those who had memorised the entire Qur’an at the hands of the Prophet himself. This was where the important concept of tawatur, or multiply attested sources, came into play. In order to be 100% sure that a verse of the Quran was in fact a verse of the Quran, it needed to have multiple independent chains of transmissions from different memorisers of the Quran. In this way, any verse that came to Zaid could be corroborated through both written and oral means, essentially guaranteeing that every single verse put in the final book was conveyed by the Prophet ﷺ. Once this had been completed by Zaid, he penned the completed text which became known as the Suhuf, and gave it to Abu Bakr. This was now the official text of the Qur’an. Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (peace be upon him) was the most generous amongst the people, and he used to be more so in the month of Ramadan when Gabriel visited him, and Gabriel used to meet him on every night of Ramadan till the end of the month. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to recite the Holy Qur'an to Gabriel, and when Gabriel met him, he used to be more generous than a fast wind (which causes rain and welfare). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 12) No other religious scripture was compiled with such accuracy... Other Arabic Quraans available today are translations into different local arabic dialects, or different editions/fonts/tafsers etc...

@Halim Yacob lol have you actually read those verses you are quoting at least?! We all know it is all cut and paste. Do be so ignorant and lazy. Educate yousellf about what you are trying to say to others.
@Halim Yacob Quran (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things."
Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. (See also: Response to Apologists)
Quran (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help." (See also: Response to Apologists)
Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority". This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be 'joining companions to Allah'). (See also: Response to Apologists)
Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. (See also: Response to Apologists)
Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Satan, etc.).
But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks." (See also: Response to Apologists)
Quran (4:95) - "Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame, etc.), and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. (See also: Response to Apologists)
Quran (4:101) - "And when you (Muslims) travel in the land, there is no sin on you if you shorten your Salat (prayer) if you fear that the disbelievers may attack you, verily, the disbelievers are ever unto you open enemies." Mere disbelief makes one an "open" enemy of Muslims.
Quran (4:104) - "And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain..." Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense? (See also: Response to Apologists)
Quran (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement" (See also: Response to Apologists)
Quran (8:12) - "(Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels...

If there's that opportunity, remember me too my brother.
@Adam Musthafa Funny no where to hide for fake prophet now. We will continue to expose you everywhere.
I'd studied Qira'at (Quran reading science) & I'll list here some points:
1) Quran at first was never intended to be written as a manuscript; but rather to be spread "vocally" via trusted recitation then by repeated memorization.
For example, the most famous difference in qira'at is in chapter 1 "Al-Fatihah": verse no.4; which has two qira'at:
(ملك يوم الدين \ مالك يوم الدين); one vowel letter difference in the first word translates to
(King of Judgement Day \ Owner of Judgement Day).
Here is how more than one qira'ah come into existence and the people who took care of transmitting all such kind of differences of narrations (mostly at pronouncing some vowels/letters/tonation, but also in some cases could be changing of active/passive/spelling/verse counting, some cases come as fixed rules and others are irregular, in so there was a necessity for a new science to keep track of all complexities)
3) Many inaccurate things were mentioned such as counting of narrators as separate Qurans rather than to be mentioned as "Paths" according to Qira'at scholars. Names of people were elected to refer shortly to the famous reading in a specific regional place, not to honor the reciter himself. Some Narrators were counted twice for the same person having two different sources of qira'ah; such as with "Ad-Duri" or "Khalaf"
You can listen to sample of a chapter of Quran read continuously with all possible 10 qira'at here:

There is absolutely no proof that people memorized the Quran. We have no proof of what they supposedly memorized.
Sounds like each different quran has it's own exclusive Allah. We are discovering now that more Allahs exist.

AWESOME! I am so excited to hear about Haf and how he beat out all of the contenders!
If Muslims believed that the quran came from Allah they wouldn't really play with it as they do.
Always so good, Thank you Dr.Jay!
Allah said he will replace his words as long as he finds something better than the precious revelation. Allah is still changing his words even after 1400 years!
lol
it is not even al'lah that changes the words, but man. al'lah must be an idiot since these Islamic scholars have to go behind him to correct or change his words.

Professor Jay, I am a Christian from Iraq, how can I speak with you?
Iraq had one of the oldest churches in Christendom. Islam over centuries, with systematic persecution, decimated it.My church in India had its bishops from Iraq Chaldean St Thomas traditions. We pray that it will be restored.
@K P This is what is "seeing the woods for the trees". Read the Gospel of John where Jesus says I and my father are one" Before Abraham was I Am" You do not understand the Holy Trinity ,that's the problem.
Qur'an's oldes version is the Sana a Manuscript. It shows overwriting and Erasures. Some presevartion indeed. Where are the ayaths -more than a hundred relating to adult breastfeeding and stoning to death in chapter 3 of the Quran? In A Isha's own words, they were "eaten by a tame sheep" during the funeral preparations of Muhammad. That's some preservation indeed. And then the logical fallacy of your argument .You try to distract attention from the subject at hand by talking about the divinity of Jesus. We are talking about the Quran preservation .This is called red herring fallacy. Running away from the topic to hide behind allegations of some kind. Don't try to fool people. They are cleverer than you moronic Islamists.
@K P arguing with a proven fact looks really absurd

How can all the different qiraat be the one Quran like the one unchanging one in heaven?
Quantum physics. This is like Schrödinger's Cat which is both alive and dead. We shall call it Schrödinger's Qiraat.
Truly the Quran must be of divine origin for containing such advanced science! 😏
We love you dear! Continue exposing the truth! This will eradicate so much suffering from the world!
These Guys transmitted the Quran like Covid 19 spread hahah hahaha😂😂😂😂

Awesome video. Jay, you are the best.
@HB Net lol, we the pharaohs, made science while making history !!! who are you ?!!!!!
@HB Net And I will go with that !! which science did the Arabs provided humanity ?!!! Tell you before you answer me, non of the names you will mention are Arabs !!
@HB Net Literally, you can !! and with simple DNA analysis from the science of West that you call them KOFFAR you can prove it or deny it. However, the cavemen in North Africa can not be compared with Pharaohs !!
@HB Net Your logic is really messed up !!. To you shallow knowledge, the word Coptic means old Egyptian and it applies to both Christian and Muslim Egyptians. Also, go read and learn and you will know why the Egyptians joined Islam !!. It is not out subject here !!!
HB Net Another retarded answer, my field of speciality is molecular population genetics, however both modern or traditional genetics has nothing to do with your kind !!

@Md. Abdul Kadir Akash I think you don't went through the full video, and the previous of jay Smith so you are saying it....check your scholars eg: Yasir qadhi: there are holes in quran....check the holes for the book from heaven...

My friend, you seems know nothing about Islam and Qur'an
- The quran belongs in this fascinating and rich tradition and is important largely???
By the eighth century CE, a large number of scholars were considered specialists in the field of recitation due to this, a new generation of recitation scholars has emerged who represent the distinct link of readings from Muhammad's time to the present and the future time those Al-Tabi'in includes :
"
Nafi‘ al-Madani, Ibn Kathir al-Makki, Abu 'Amr Ibn al-'Ala',Ibn Amir ad-Dimashqi, Aasim ibn Abi al-Najud, Hamzah az-Zaiyyat, Al-Kisa'i,Abu Ja'far, Ya'qub al-Yamani , Khalaf.
"
Most of their readings (Qira'at) were authenticated by chains of reliable narrators, going back to Muhammad (PBUH). The readings (Qira'at) which were supported by a large number of reliable narrators on each level of their chain were (called mutawaatir), and were considered the most accurate.
"
- because it was co-opted by an advancing Arab empire????
The second mistake, there is no something called the Arab empire in the time of Muhammad (PUBH), but the Arab was independent tribles. the first book was
"
- had arabising myths added to it and the literature surrounding it????
This is a big claim, which myths ??? example, please ???
My friend if you are in front of any postgraduate examiner you will fail because you are shown them null proofs.
Every time I watch you videos I get an advert from Islam say how great the prophet is. Hopefully this draws our brothers to the one true God and his Son.
Who would have a more accurate understanding of George Washington? Thomas Jefferson, or me? C’mon, it’s only 200 years later! 🤣🤣🤣
Word "Nikah" has a great meaning please have a look at it in Arabic and then see rituals for nikah like "Mahr" or money for marriage or contract.
It is common sense that it would not be possible to preserve a book/manuscripts letter by letter at a time of oral traditions and difficulties to keep record of written pieces in distant regions. I am now wondering if the meaning and the texts have been substantially changed, and if so in which direction? Can the changes be traced back, and how far back?
what u r doing is absolutely going to change the current muslims and their future generations; but only if your information gets to them.
According to your dream.

Jay. Can you comment about the Tubingen manuscript that Dr Shabbir Ali has recently been enthralled about? Thanks
In November 2014, the University of Tübingen in Germany announced that a partial Quran manuscript in their possession (Ms M a VI 165), had been carbon dated (with a confidence of 95%), to between 649 and 675. The manuscript is now recognized as being written in hijazi script, although in the 1930 catalogue of the collection it is classified as "Kufic", and consists of the Quranic verses 17:36, to 36:57 (and part of verse 17:35). (It's only a partial manuscript, just do a search on it)
@@truthdefenders4694 yes, I would like to hear what Jays thoughts are on it and if it any way alters his theories! Apparently it is early and the only dots on it are written in a different colour and appear to be added later!
Really!!! 100😳
It's interesting that the ad hoc hadith they use to explain the mess
-comes centuries after muhammad
-is inconsistently graded (though that could be from different isnads in fairness)
-sometimes says 'this quran' (ie 'this recitation') rather than 'the quran' perhaps simply in reference to the 'recitation' of surah al furqan rather than the entire quran itself
Smart muslims will surely think that they have been fooled !!!
These may different qurans will destroy islam , because allah himself says in the quran that he will protect the quran (see quran 15:9).
No one can change the words of allah , see 6:34 and 6:115.
These many qurans are a DISASTER for islam .
Thanks to God, it’s not a problem for me, because even with there being different versions of the Qur’ân, like those of Ḥafṣ and Warsh, it’s not impossible to find out the correct version, by closely analysing the passages within them.
Let people properly read Ḥafṣ' and Warsh' versions, to see which ones contain the right words of the Qur’ân, and which ones contain words that are not in the actual Qur’ân, by reading them Verse-by-Verse, like I did.
what a chaotic school of thought...?
What on earth is going on here🤔
K P I think you are missing the point. There are different variations of the Quran today. Uthman burned all the scriptures once he wrote his version so not even his version is the original. I have seen online very old scriptures and they are very similar to what is around today. Thanks for your input.
K P can you provide evidence for any false information please.

The "queera-aet topic " was regulated n sufficiently proved to be another miracle among Kuran's , as the variations in queera-aet are serving to enrich n deepen the main shared primary meaning of all the 10 variations . So, there are no contradictions striking the reader or the reciter .
I will quote from an old point researcher in this same spot ,n this what should have been done from professionals is only to quote what had been already written in this same topic like the concluding stamp of SALF (former scholars from 3ird c to the time of sahabah (r.a).) n ruling as (fatawa)of former islamic scholars =

I translate = "The queera-aet are a followed "sunnah" (a prophetic n Islamic tradition ) which should be accepted on an obligating level , and to be committed to them . And they agreed as a final extra verdict in fatwa = I quote :
- وأجمعوا على لزوم اتباع رسم المصاحف العثمانية في الوقف؛ إبدالاً، وإثباتاً، وحذفاً، ووصلاً، وقطع
It is an obligating rule in all these queera-aet to follow the "Rasm" (textual writing)signs in matter of "tajweed" rules (Linguistic pronunciation rules) like in : linkin, stopping, emphsising, inversion, cuts n omission

Really, since you are such a philosopher tell us a little about the trinitarian scepticism !
@@boubazin2309 that's easy. It's all equally ridiculous Abrahamic myths, copied and plagiarised - then claiming all are the correct religion. All can't be right eh? Thanks for your comment and compliment. (hey I never claimed to be a philosopher!)
@@TH-camr-qt5rn , You're welcome bro. , but I am afraid I woudn't call my word as a compliment , it was rather a kind of challenge to your very humble knowledge . I believe strongly that the issue of sending guidance by our Creator to mankind is in no way a ridiculous matter n precisly the Three Abraheimic faiths , You just rejected them all through attributing to them a negative depiction as "myths"without objective justifications nor supportive proofs which wasnt acadamic at all from you.

12 People
During the 23 years of Muhammad's time as a prophet, the verses of the Quran were memorized as they were revealed, and about 42 scribes wrote the verses on different materials such as paper, cloth, bone fragments and leather.
Mushaf
Thus, all the verses of the Quran that describe the creation of the universe and people, judgment day, exemplary stories of the people who lived before and the beliefs, worship, morals and legal bases that believers should obey were collected together into a single-volume book.
Dialect of Quraysh
A difference was observed in the recitation of the Quran in the Armenia battles between Muslims from Damascus and Iraq during the period of the third caliph, Uthman.
Seven copies
The old copies were destroyed to prevent future conflicts.
Original mushafs
Some of these first seven mushafs have disappeared over time.
Great Dr. Jay Smith. God bless u!!!
Come on Jay this is your chance 100 is good evidence to do any debates, stop hiding this information in your channel, your Christian followers are full about. We are waiting for this debate on pins and needles.
He said the debaters will only debate whether in 1924 there was only one new version of the Koran. Otherwise the topic of whether there is one Koran will attract no interest. What with holes in the narrative and patches in the manuscripts.
You can't see how he's already debunked the claims of your false teachers thru these videos ? The ball is in THEIR court now. The onus is on THEM to prove that allah's 'pure' koran has NOT been corrupted by human hands.
They CANNOT.

@tigerarmyrule not to you obviously
The readings COULD date from Mohamets time, via oral transmission, but at Mohamets time there were the 7 Ahruf (whatever that was) which are not the 7 readings. but: 1. Quraysh 2. Hudhayl 3. Thaqîf 4. Hawâzin 5. Kinâna 6. Tamîm 7. Yemen
- the received qurans/qiraat are all basically in the same tongue, not a single one shows any dialectal variation. all variations are related to grammar, syntax ororthography.
It does not add up. That is a scientific miracle. That sensible men should believe in it. That is a miracle.
before the 8th century there were just no means to write any qiraats down. thats why.
you always (sem to) suppose there has been any original (written or not). thats not the case. ac. to the mainstream islamic narrative there have been 7 ahruf right from the start. so by definition, no original, not even an archetypus.
these charts expose the islamic pseudo-science. based on completely different criteria (alledged unprovable Tawatur) than our (western) textual criticism (recensio).
@@josephcasley7979 the miracle of the changed unchangedness. but that would require that at least the rasm is 100% unchanged and only the way of reading it is different. but that also is (admittedly, cf. Dr Ally "minor particles") not the case.
Surah Al-Hijr, Verse 9:
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
Surely We have revealed the Reminder (Quraan) and We will most surely be its guardian.
via iQuran
The entire Quran was memorized verbatim (word for word) by many of the Prophet’s Companions (males and females).
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 12)
No other religious scripture was compiled with such accuracy...
Other Arabic Quraans available today are translations into different local arabic dialects, or different editions/fonts/tafsers etc...
