thanx for posting this episode, along with some of the other people who were on this one. i soo remember seeing this, and i only saw this small part. im gonna put this on my list of favs. thanx! ^^
My logic was exactly the same with the Frankenstein answer lol but then i was thinking "i was born" sounds more like an autobiographical book which would be for Copperfield
I actually got this saying to myself "It just FEELS like Little America would be the one" and I got it but would have done the same thing to walk away. Can't believe how many times that has happened, but there's also a good amount of times where I got it wrong but would have walked away too. Somehow this one feels so accomplishing to get though. Damn.
Believe it or not, David Goodman also did this for his million dollar question, as he had all three lifelines to use. (The majority of the audience was actually correct.)
Most if not all of the big winners that I have are already up, check out my other videos. I have a playlist of all the $500,000 winners. I only have 4 of the top prize winners (kevin olmstead, kevin smith, bernie cullen, and Ed Toutant)
Most try to avoid this but its not unheard of, particularly with celebrities. Some of the ones I have posted are: Edie Falco, Jason Alexander, Emeril Lagase, Adam West, and the best one is definately Huey Lewis.
@xarontas666 They were referring to the classic novel by Charles Dickens published in 1850. Although I wouldn't put it past the magician Copperfield to start a book like that either, LOL.
Because it's the wrong strategy. Asking the audience first means the guesses are more spread out, and then 50 50 leaves behind a greater amount of votes that actually knew the answer.
I also want to say that 09/11,might have certainly helped shape the man that the Denis Leary's foundation needed.. That was the leader himself, who has donated in the tens of millions of dollars over the years equipment from Firetrucks, state of the-art electronic equipment and even disaster relief effort boats that were customly made and brought for Hurricane Katrina. That story is very touching and through his books, comedy,TV drama work,n then real-life charity work, It shows a MAN a GR8 MAN!!!
I just saw the TruHlywdStry*thx DVR*of Mr.Leary(a genuis raw comic)and how NOT ironic it must have felt to Denis Learys' Firefighter's foundation. This changed Denis I believe2get serious about his legacy.Went from Lock'd N Loaded to Rescue Me,10 years running strong :)!2 days before 09/11 He quotes the taken for granted'ness' yet how important firefighters and thier safety are to families, cities, and even our country.I know why there wasnt a'LckdNLodeD2'.Gr8call,DenisU have saved ff's lifves:-)
If they dont know the answer they have 50% chance of getting it right, without the 50-50 they have a 25% chance of getting it right. So what do you think its better?

I only knew the David Copperfield question from watching Family Guy.
As soon I saw him I knew he was Gwen's Dad on Amazing Spiderman

The 50/50 should definitely be a last resort.
Definitely. It's the most wasted lifeline.
Regis is the shit! Gene Hackman and then he says Gene wilder and Regis knew both, smart man. I wanna see Regis in the hot seat!
He passed away
Regis did one hot seat question for the 10th anniversary specials.

say what you want, he did a SMART move. that is a lot of equipment. i'm glad he walked w/ the money.

ohhhh if Denis had seen Interview With A Vampire he would know it's David Copperfield! instead he's wasting lifelines!
THANK GOD! the only guy i've seen on this show that THINKS through the question AND Actually walks away o_o
Denis leary For PRES, 2013

@Raybone777 Didn't you say that on another video?
Dennis leary is the only guy i've seen to use 50/50, THEN ask the audiance. I thought only thought it occured to me only.
