Derek apologising to Addison was really needed - he acted like she was the only one at fault in the marriage for a VERY long time. This could've been a real reconciliation moment if he had acc tried

their relationship was always much more fascinating to me than mer/der. they both hurt each other deeply but their chemistry was so interesting. and a decade and a half together…. there’s so much history. i think it would have been much more compelling to explore their reconciliation a bit more. even if they ended up divorcing anyway
One of the best Derek/Addison scenes. There's real depth here. Derek taking responsibility for failure of their marriage and really trying to make it work. For a moment it looked like there was a real possibility of them working it out. Too bad it didn't happen. I love Derek/Meredith, but I wanted more Derek/Addison
Yeah I really feel bad for addison, I remembered when he said to derek that she want him to care but he doesn't because she was not merideth grey. After that day he never apologizes like Addison was just okay and sleep with mer.

This is one of the best scenes of TV I've ever seen. I watch it often. I'm not a fan of Derek and Addison together but this is just brilliant.
