Hello Tim, thank you a lot, i love your content ! I have some questions after this video, can you control zoom and gimbal through raspberry pi ? (i have a pixhawk 2.4.8) and i would like to make same thing as you ^^
This spiked a question, understandably ardupilot uses the mavlink communication method for most of these services. Any reason for this specifically when other services are available?
Tim - excellent video, thanks for sharing. This is really helpful for us planning our next ardupilot adventure
What are you planning? [And who is "us"]?
Looking good!
Thanks for all your work on this Tom. I now have 2.5 planes and one quad running networking for telemetry. It works great!
With the new Starlink mini you'll literally have unlimited range 😂 if you can build a drone big enough that is...
Amazing! Is it with this set up possible to control the plane from an "unlimited" range? Because of the LTE connection?
Pretty much anywhere there is a cell signal yes.
@@timtheplaneman thats so cool! I will definitely build it to following your tutorial 😁

You could using mavlink for sure. Perhaps using the pymavlink Python library. Thanks for watching.

I'm not sure I understand your question. What "other services" are you thinking of?
