Tractor companies don’t invest much at all when it comes to quality tool storage. That box you bought is a decent size for what’s needed on a tractor. Thanks for sharing!
bummer ... looks like that toolbox is discontinued at RK. The plastic tabs all broke on the Kubota box and I dont want anything bouncing out of it. So ... looks like I will have to keep looking. =(
Not the way I ended up doing it I’m going to see if I can make an extension to raise it higher than the box only would need a few inches higher to clear shouldn’t be to hard.
Best thing i ever did to my 7060 was ditch that junk factory box. Had a friend tig weld up a nice diamond plate box to fit the entire space back there. Now can fit all sorts of bushings, pins, wrenches, versus the factory box that could fit a small adjustable on a good day lol
I will have to grab one the next time I'm there thanks for sharing

Thanks Ben it’s working out good!
Great tool box. We love Rural King. Just got one in our area this year!
Nice! We do too they seem to have almost everything!
mounted one on 8n behind seat. brackets kinda weak an box is super thin metal. I reenforced brackets with some 1in. angle. Works like a charm! 🇺🇲
Yeah the brackets are a bit flimsy I thought about adding some reinforcement to mine also
Glad I came across this video.
Thanks for watching!
Nice to know can get a decent too box locally. You went through some of the same things I probably would to get the right fit.
Tool - stupid spell check.
Lol
Nice set up

That stinks my Kubota box did the same thing
New toolbox looks great. Can you still mount your slow moving triangle? I have a M7060 and would like to do the same.

I don’t even know why Kubota wastes their time with that junk plastic box, I just looked at a m4-071 and it even uses that same box smh.
@@WilliamsonRidge I still have the little plastic box on the 2501 its the exact same thing that was on the 7060 and its got to go lol!
Why would you put the set screws in back, put them in front so you can remove the box easier
Looks better hidden. And it’s an Allen head so it really isn’t to hard to get to.
