Love it. Reminded me to begin metronome study again. Also if you do one of these licks and you get good and fast, do you just play them on one in-breath? Right? You can't empty your lungs? You just proceed with your solo or whatever you might be playing and exhale that way.
Want to let you know that I got an email from you displaying your monthly group lesson planetc. You said something about shiny object syndrome. I really got a lot from that. I looked over where I am at and began to work on only 4 or 5 things I was never able to master. I got 'em now. My practice although lengthly lacked persistent focus. Another thing I would do is just die listening to insanely good players and realize I did not blow a note. Was frustrating. Yay! and thanks, Don

Second lick sounds to me like one of Sonny Terry`s turnaround licks.

I would like to learn to repeat fast the same note, how to do that?
That's a great question. If you want to repeat the same note quickly you will need to articulate by saying "too" or "te".
