Operative phrase: "Personal Responsibility". There are so many jewels in this interview that anyone can apply to their lives. Taking pride in who you are first, regardless of what you do is another one.
Shannon, this is absolutely the BEST interview you have ever had on the Club! I love Terry, he is a 12 ft tall man, just because of life. Excellent lessons on life from a REAL Man. Thank you for this wonderful time with two good guys !! God Bless both of you
The character of Julius may never get the love he deserves but that role he played taught me so much about life and helped me to respect the man who will stop at nothing to feed their family without breaking the law. Terry will be solid in my book forever for that role alone.
To be successful in life, you got to fail a bunch to learn from your mistakes. Terry realized he wasn't cut out to play in the NFL which sadly many who play football won't get to the pros. He figured out what he wanted to do in life and as appeared in Training Day he started getting more roles and it grew and grew.
Man God has a plan for all of us. He overcame so much adversity and took advantage of his other opportunities and pursued what he was really passionate about. People are quick to judge a person for what they’re doing but don’t know the reward at the end starting out cleaning doing janitorial work or whatever it is to get to where you really want to be regardless of what people think.
Talent plus desire plus preparation equals success.. he had talent but not the other two which is why the nfl did not work… but had all 3 for Hollywood!
The biggest takeaway I got from this clip was that terry’s wife played a huge role in his success, us men need to realize that with a strong supportive woman by our side, we can achieve alot more than we think we can
I met you terry when you were with the packers. I never knew you the player and you the actor were the same person till I looked it up a few yrs back. still love idiocracy.
Respect Terry, I come from immigrated parents in the late 70s and I had the same sentiments from family when I decided to go to film school. It was a bizarre field for them to understand why I would want to bet my livelihood on entertainment.
who doesn't like Terry Crews? me and wifey enjoy watching his commercials and films and get a good laugh with his comedy films. We hope to see him more often in film, and were a bit sad to see he wasn't in the latest Expendables film
I don’t understand why people celebrate making the 53 if it’s known they can still bring someone else in and cut you. It seems like if you aren’t a starter you’re always in danger. I hate that they let a player go through camp and then just cut them
They invite them to camp to evaluate who they want on the team. Even players who were drafted late can get cut. It also gives updrafted players another chance which is good. Also everyone signs a contract for camp so that they get paid. And trust me camp salary is still very good. I know a guy who went undrafted in the NFL draft. He ended up getting an invite to the Indianapolis cults training camp he got cut ofc but he made enough from Nfl camp and preseason games to pay off his mother house she was endanger of losing, buy his father a car, and start his own business. Getting cut isn't a bad thing. It just depends on how responsible you are with the money you make while you're on the preseason roster. I think the guys who were cut should still at least be greatful they had a chance to even be apart of an NFL roster. Hardly any player will get that chance.
why you think like that you think these older dudes who worked out there whole life is on trt when then famous and successful the truth is trt steroids all that leads to an large heart and early grave disciple diet and a little work will go a long way its 60 year olds in the gym lifting 6 plates. just go to your local gym
1 Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
I just hope he ain’t giving up booty for money. Hollyweird is a wild place and he was desperate to make it no matter what so I just hope he kept his dignity in the process.
Terry went to Flint Academy. Not known for football at the time. My high school team ragdolled them in 1984. Terry I think that game had 25 tackles at least. As a 15 year old sophomore. Terry was that good. I am one of his biggest fans. Hope everything is well, TC. Keep going, my man.
"if someone gave you a million dollars to sweep this floor.................how would you sweep it" this should be a story told to each and every single person working a minimum wage general labor job. apply sweeping floors to any type of work
I live in Detroit grew up in Port Huron MI and worked at nearly every auto plant in this state in skilled trades and I'm here to tell you this man is a Michigan treasure. He is an American treasure to me.
His parents at least taught him to be a decent guy. I grew up in three different homes and have been baptized three times Didn't mean anything to me but I do follow the ten commandments as best as I can. I think it even says in the Bible to go in the closet and pray to God so I don't see any reason to go to church I even spend a week a year with my family staying in a cabin at a church camp LOL
Universal Truth. When you can see your teachers, your teachers disappear. He had to learn the lesson of giving 100% and once it became a part of him. It opened up. hmm
Terry is a GREAT storyteller. Some people can get boring after a while but I could listen to Terry speak all day long ✌🏾
This is one of the best interviews out right now !!

Your journey from the NFL shares so many emotions when separating from the military. Proud of you man, it ain’t easy to move to move on.

2 years out of the military and I know that lost feeling all too well. Great interview🫡🫡
That's crazy the NFL is really only liked in a little part of the world.🤔
Terry's greatest catch is his wife.

Terry got way more money than shannon
There's enough TRT in that room to treat ED in every retirement home in central Florida 😂

The lesson: Live in a country where you can go from sweeping floors to wealth, fame and influence in a few set of years.
1 Corinthians 7:14
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
So he got a college education, money from NFL but had to sweep floors when he retired from the league? What did he study broomology?
So who cares he is rich
If you're not rich that mentality will keep you poor.
He was trash it's ok
You keep posting this same comment everywhere, why are you so jealous of TC?
Can’t be trash in the nfl. Just not as talented as the rest.
