I saw a few requests asking for a Sky Journey solo mix video, so here it is!

this line should have been ruby’s solo line in the final mix. the fact that this is “her” center song and she got absolutely nothing in it makes me so mad because she deserves so much more. listening to her solo mix makes it really feel like her song where she shines
Especially considering she’s not even the center of the dance. If they wanted Chika as the center, they should’ve just made her the center

In my opinion Kanan and Ruby were the ones who did the best here! Kanan really surprised me. It sounds like she didn’t struggle at all with the high notes, or felt like she needed to “scream” them.
Ruby and Kanan’s voices usually aren’t my favorites, so this is new! I can’t stop listening to Kanans “narunde” (or whatever it is she’s singing lol) during 1:54

1. Hanamaru (she ATE idc idc. literally flawless, idk why no one talks about her vocals. also side note she pronounces her o's like a canadian and i cannot unhear it.)
2. Yoshiko (the beginning part was absolutely gorgeous. i feel like her voice gets thinner as it goes higher and you can kinda hear it but it was still really good!)
3. Mari (she's the queen of high notes don't play with her. she can YELL. it's great.)
4. You (the amount of power you put into this is crazy. like i'm not her biggest fan but i can't deny she ate this.)
5. Chika (the spectacular back half of her solo is kinda weighed down by the slow section being kinda... ehhh... but overall it was a slay.)
6. Riko (her voice is literal asmr for the first part of her solo... and it's still asmr when she's supposed to be powerful. idk it felt a bit odd but i liked it nonetheless.)
7. Ruby (i feel like the music was kinda kicking her ass through the chorus, but she did her best! she just needs to be a bit louder.)
8. Kanan (unfortunately her distinct tone didn't really help her out here. like ruby, i felt like she couldn't quite project as far as the other girls.)
9. Dia (dia is the queen of not projecting, i always feel like she's too quiet. sometimes she sounds like she's choking on her own spit and this was one of those days. not her song unfortunately)
All of them sound outstanding, and Kanan sounds atonishing, Sky Journey months ago became one of my Aqours' favourite songs because all of the solos that were being released are marvellous

I love Mari’s high note so much she transitions from head voice to chest voice so well 💜 same as Yoshiko and Kanan. I honestly love all of these so much. Everyone sang really well

Oh my god Kanan! She nailed it!! Thank god Yohane used her deep voice, everyone did amazing in that song- I can't even choose a favourite!
Despite being the same lyrics each girl nailed it in a unique way- from Kanan successfully reaching the high notes, to Yohane's deep voice to Mari and Chika's higher pitched voices 💕
you ate this up. maybe it's my shuka bias but she executes her voice so differently in each song (which is a good thing! it seems to fit depending on the feel of the instrumental) and she knows just exactly where to put more emphasis on lines! yousoro!
Riko's solo was my absolute favorite.

I love Kanan’s version. The lyrics in this song are really beautiful too😙
Yohane’s voice sent me chills, it felt like a dark interpretation of the song. Mari of course had the best vocal technique. Maru’s version was nice too.
For Riko, I wish she could’ve put more power into the mottetara part.
While for You it felt a bit too energetic, she does great at mellow songs which actually makes me question why Shula decided to sing that way. But it was still quite pleasing.
The others… well there are quite a few parts where they can improve, especially Ruby and Kanan so that they don’t sound too pitchy.
I love how beautiful kanan's version is. As soon as i heard her sky journey solo in the preview i was shookt and excited. And now it was released i couldnt help but smile at how much Suwawa has improved.
All of them did amazing btw.

I think Ruby should've gotten more singing time in this for sure. She's so so powerful in this song and her solo really shows that! But I love how everyone sounds, all of the girls sound SO strong in this one! I think Yohane sounds a lot like Maki here, which is cute to me considering that they're like parallels in a way. My ranking would have to be:

the way she hit those high notes w such energy and ferocity, especially at “mono MOTTEtara” “NARU tte” and the final tsudzukete, not as smooth/clean as Mari Riko or Yohane per se, but it feels the most raw and powerful
