Idiots and trolls online will hate him for a year and a half of underwhelming football but forget the man had two consecutive 20 plus goal scoring seasons at 21 years of age. Add on top the absolute class and warmth he showed during COVID to achieve what he did and this last season scoring 30 goals. Proved them all wrong and I believe in him to keep doing that in the future as well.

As a lifelong city fan from Manchester I obviously grew up disliking united, they were always winning and we were struggling. Always had that distaste for UTD and still do to this day but it is pretty hard to find anything about Marcus to dislike. Real footy player who loves his club, origin and family. As a lifelong city fan from Manchester I obviously grew up disliking united, they were always winning and we were struggling. Always had that distaste for UTD and still do to this day but it is pretty hard to find anything about Marcus to dislike. Real footy player who loves his club, origin and family. Gives back to the community and is a genuinely great player. I hope he has a 0/10 performance every time he is playing against us but outside of that I wish only the best for this lad. Good lad he is, sometimes its just about more than football
