The edit at 11:10 was awesome, the timing of the vocals in the song and the ten pin going down, love it. Tough tournament for a lot of people this week, probably something to do with not matching up at that center.

Darren always fighting back like I said before. As a person learning to bowl I love the outlook you have after ever tournament. That’s how I want to be. Learn from every game no matter the outcome
As a beginners. Coach The only thing I can notice. Is when it comes to your balance arm, you swing it back hard and fast vs smooth and steady should help with the consistent ball motion. Sometimes when we simplify our game we do better. Good luck the rest of the way.

Good job on the whole event, too bad you didn't get to championship maybe next year it will be closer to where I live so I can watch you everyday. Great editing as always. Hell of a great block 1 of Shark. The Scorpion just looked insanely difficult. All the house hacks in the comments would be lucky to shoot 140 on it. The Players will go a lot better for you. I'm manifesting it for you!
I bowled regionals for 4 years in the south region. When they came out the animal patterns scorpion was worse for me than any of the patterns. The national tour patterns are definitely harder. I tell everyone who is a house hack who says the patterns are not that hard to shoe up or shut up. Love your comment!!!

What a tough tournament for sure. How do you prevent injury or fatigue when bowling so many games and so many blocks? Tough breaks on to the next one though I truly love the journey of these videos

I know they say once you go move left for a right hand hander don't move right, but why not throw a much weaker ball and move right ?
Is there a reason why no one plays down and in? I kept watching the way Darren's ball hit the pocket and thought about the moves I would make off of certain breaks. I noticed that, for the most part, he stayed around the same area. I see a light hit and think, "I would have moved right. Straighten the angle." But is there a reason for not doing that? Is there something with the patterns that would force someone to play more central on the lane?
Longer patterns tend to have less oil per board. When the front of the lane loses oil, we move left to find more.
@@DarrenTang is it safe to assume that staying right and balling down is risky? I guess if you hit a patch of oil, the ball will never come back.

With bowling so many games it must be physically brutal bowling bad since shooting at so many spares just has to really add to the wear and tear on your body, something that can’t help when you are struggling.

I don’t understand why he switches balls in between games dude bowled a 290 with the one a few games later he switches balls and doesn’t get a 200 if ur doing good with the one why even switch?
Because they switch lanes as well. A ball that works on one lane may not work on the next, and a ball choice you make for that lane might not end up being the right one.

@@dylangobel2923 they do! But then you have to take into account who bowled on it. Different play styles, Rev rate, 1/2 hands, it all makes a difference in how a lane plays.

DTang, you've forgotten more about bowling than I will ever know. I'm just a league hacker while you are one of the best bowlers in the world. But, to my naked eye, it looks like you are playing deep, deep left with your left foot over the left gutter on almost every shot. Which would be fine if you are killing it from there. But in recent weeks I've seen you play that shot over and over and it seems that a lot of your shots are struggling to make it back. I don't mean they're so bad that you're always leaving 2-10 splits, but many of them, even the strikes, aren't finishing with enough power to carry the shots that are slightly off. The few shots where you play more from the right seem to have a better entry angle into the pocket. Anyway, that's what I see. I'm sure there's a good reason you're playing that shot so much. But I wonder if it might be worth your time to try more shots from not so far left and see if that helps your carry rate.
Bro I could not handle being a professional bowler having to deal with hundreds of these types of comments. None of this is helpful at all. He's not playing out there on a whim. That's what happens when you play with bowlers with insane rev rates, the lanes break down aggressively. Even throwing weaker balls doesn't just mean you can move right, nor does having hopes and dreams. Everyone generally has a plan or idea of where they need their breakpoint to be on a pattern and are going to do whatever is needed. I doubt pros enjoy having to loft the gutter, but they're going to do what is necessary. They can't just decide "Ah I'll just move back right". These blocks they bowl see more action on the lanes than we'll ever experience in a 3 game league. And mind you they are changing lanes which could be drastically different. It's quite literally chess vs checkers. So the idea of "hey man move right" is not going to help him the slightest here
