Travelled to Toronto 4 times on solo holidays from england..love it in Feb when go for my birthday and also in sept when its solo warm! People are so friendly..city is so clean and so much to see...can't wait to return...
Videos like this are terrific when music's running in the back and your under the influence of marijuana. It really makes you feel as though you're there, driving in the car.
Great video. I also love how you can see in the rear view mirror too. I have a suggestion. While some people know the city, some others don't. Maybe you could add text if you edit your video and label some landmarks like city hall, chinatown, UofT, Eaton Centre, etc. on any future videos (unless you've already done that).
Come to Vancouver. Having lived in both cities, I can tell you that Vancouver is a much better choice. Beautiful nature, better weather, urban city core, better city aesthetics, beautiful beaches, more diversity, cleanliness, and lower crime rate. It's a better choice in every aspect and for the sake of the quality your of life. I will say that Toronto feels like home for some reason I can't describe :)
Hey! I was going to make a video regarding toronto, i was wondering if i could get permission to use a small clip from your video? I dont mind adding a link in the description to your video. Thanks
boy you drove some streets I avoid like the plague Spadina and King for one . . no wonder you needed gas at the end :-) dont know how you kept quiet with a few of those clowns on Spadina :-) :-) be safe
+Idun Valkyrie yes it was hard to not yell at the other drivers a couple of times. The van that cut me off at bay and bloor for one! I was actually good for gas at the end. Had to stop for other reasons ;) thanks for watching!
Toronto is a nice city and vibrant .. however .. I prefer Vancouver over Toronto because of its natural beauty .. it's like a complete package of the city + nature in one spot.
Most of the parents in Toronto ignore traffic laws with their children and many of these twits are civil servants. Let's end the terrorism of Toronto's children and introduce conscientious streets and communities instead of the current freewheeling city slicker phenomenon. My work with the "Law Abiding Capital City Streets Campaign," is designed to help these children.
I think the government need to put more money into the basic infrastructure in the GTA area, including public transit system. Everything just looks out of date
+zelimmir thanks for the feedback. At this point the channel includes mostly dash cam raw footage with very little removed. If enough people want it maybe I will do a condensed edit with the sitting cut out. Thanks for watching :)
WOW NICE CANADA PLACE HOPE I'M COME THERE TO SHOW IN REAL MY DREAM BUT I'M WISH I'M PRAYER TO GO THERE IF HAD PENANCIAL.. I'M PRAYER I'M WANT BOTH COUNTRY I GO, TO SHOW WHAT HAPPEN ALL.. THEN I'M PRAYER TO GOD.. TO STILL NICE STAY FINE ALL PLACE.. THANK YOU I'M DO IT BEST TIO HELP BUT ONLY LOOKING IN PRAYER HOPE BECOME TRUE WE CAN HELP TOGETHER WITH HIM DIYOS HE ONLY GUIDE TO ME IN ALL.. DIOS,God is good all the time.
please drive up on yonge street north , make a right on Lawrence Ave , go about 5 to 10 km East till you see the ugly parts of Toronto , called Scarbrough then everyone can write their comments.
Scarborough isn't so bad any more. It''s continuing to develop. Yonge St at Lawrence Ave. is a good neighbourhood. Going east on Lawrence, you're forced to go north at Bayview. To go east again, you would cut through the Bridal Path neighbourhood, where some of the wealthiest people in the country live. Yes, very ugly over there. Even if you keep going another 10 km, there is nothing ugly there.
hi i'm wonde why block both house then if i'm looking going white why? what happen even looking i'm can help. wow. i'm looking both block but going on both light why? thats why i'm happy to show here youtube. i'm happy become true if i'm looking going alive both things with people hope in i'm wish.. become true. i'm like stay all people with both need. pitty if going lost.. who happy like thats. i'm with my prayer hope become win the GOD.. Canadian roads are the most antiquated in the world, if we consider the economic and technological level of the countries that pride themselves to be modern and prosperous. There are so many traffic lights and a motorist has to stop because the traffic light is on red even as there is no car to cross from the either direction of the road perpendicular to his roadway. I sent an email to Mayor John Tory of Toronto for exploring the feasibility of installing traffic sensors, so that when side roads are empty, the traffic light will stay red and if the traffic is really light, then traffic light should be removed. I am still suspecting that there is no City Engineer in Toronto who can assess the quality of roads and the efficiency of design and usage of the city infrastructure. Toronto has the worst road surface among the high tax cities in the world. Street lights are still on when the sun has already brightly shining. There is no programming of work in the repair and new road extension projects. The delays in traffic flow are not justifiable by the work done by the contractors. Even newly repaired roads have surfaces that are uneven and generally "un-engineered". Other metropolitan cities have modernized roadways by installing bypass, overpass and underpass roads, but Canada stayed using the 19th century traffic and highway technology, my consternation is that, roads and highway contractors seem to be unwilling to use 19th century asphalt roller. Highways have no parallel roads for detour in case of unforeseen incidents. When an accident happens, it is like, "nobody moves" and the traffic delays become intolerable. In deference to property developer, politicians are even considering demolition existing expressways, an utter weird way of defining "progress" and modernization. If we consider the volume of pollutants emitted by cars idling while waiting for green light, then it is not a surprise that UN is pleading Canada to do something. Civil engineers that immigrated to Canada are horrified why appropriate technology seemed to have skipped Canada. It is not too late but Canadians should start acknowledging that the conditions here are not that good going forward and beyond.
I'll skip it and see the country side. There is virtually no difference in any of the major top tier cities now. That could be New York; I've had enough of cities, no charm, no character left, smelly nisy dirty, only worth it if you're young or have a high powered carrer.
Thanks for posting this, love downtown!

Video could be much shorter, that it is without waiting at a red light.

Yup. Big cities suck. They are expensive to live in, streets are crowded with people, and too much traffic. I would rather live in a small town
