As a sailor, it’s often rare for a group of lubbers to do something impressive enough to be considered men of the sea. These men certainly passed that test. Sailors had rumors that priests and other religious leaders were Jonahs, or men who were bad luck, but I think these men from all different parts of America and religions have ended those rumors dead in the water. Thank you for bringing more light upon their valiant story
This is absolutely one of the greatest acts of self-sacrifice for someone else, an act of true belief and godliness. They are now seeing the face of God.
