Used to live there.... My father was in the military... Not a day goes by where I don't think about this place.... I live in Ontario now and miss it greatly...
19 Wing Comox, (I moved here from Trenton ON), a great place where lots of ex-military enjoy their retirement here.

Not really no harbour to speak of.
I was born here but didn’t stay long. We then moved to Montreal. Packed up again & moved to California. Now I’m 74 & live in a small town in Massachusetts. Love it here. But I have duel citizenship. I’m proud to be Canadian but married an American guy,
, & love it here in a small town on the east coast of the US. A days drive to the Canadian border. Sweet. Visited BC in 2018 & it’s as beautiful as I remember. 🇨🇦🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️❤️🕉️☮️
If you need better shopping or ferries to the mainland, better health services it’s off to Nanaimo or Victoria.
