I feel like I have to explain this for the people who don’t understand. Creator pls correct me if this is wrong, but I believe the reason why Micheal acts ‘Soft’ is because of something that happened to his mentality in the creator’s au, which resorted his mental state to that of a 3 year old. Probably trauma, since trauma can do that to people. They aren’t making Micheal soft, it’s just their au.
