    I've always been able to touch my nose with my tongue, somewhen along the way I learned to raise my left eyebrow, but I learned to wiggle my ears after I started wearing glasses.
    If they slipped down a little bit, I somehow realized I could scrunch my nose and (unbeknownst to me at the time) flex the muscles on the sides of my head making my ears move. Eventually I realized I was wiggling my ears and learned to control it and move my glasses back in place without scrunching my nose. I also eventually learned that flexing and holding them back changes the way things sound/the way you hear. I've actually used that trick a few times to hear family members trying to sneak up and scare me a few times, though it doesn't always work. but it did give me more appreciation for cats and dogs flipping their ears up and around when they hear something.

  • @quinnchatman

    When I was younger I thought everyone could move their ears. I actually learned on accident. I grew up in the woods and whenever I'm moving through the woods my ears perk back when I hear something. Like an animal, my ears alert me when something sounds different or out of place in the quiet forest. I thought that was normal.

    • @dimitri877
      @dimitri877 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's how I learned as well, but with loud sounds. Loud sounds and noises would invoke moving my ears as a reflex, and when I realized I learned to control it.

      Same here! It's also really good to be able to do when fake laughing.

    i learnt how to wiggle my ears during an exam. i was leaning into the paper so much that my specs came sliding down my nose. i was so focussed on writing that it was difficult to push my specs up with my hands everytime so after a while i instinctively started scrunching the bridge of my nose and pulling back my ears to pull the specs up. when i realized what i was doing i was dumbstruck since i had read in my bio classes that ear muscles were vest. in humans.

    Used to have a kid in middle school who had double jointed fingers, and would go around giving unsuspecting people high-fives and upon contact would bend his fingers back and scare the shit out of people. It was funny as hell to see people freak out and think they broke his hand.

    I need to learn to put both my feet behind my head imagine being arrested by the police and they ask you to put your hands behind your head but instead you place both feet behind your head they'd freak out and let you go

    Holy crap sometimes when I talk there's a little bit of water that sprays out I never knew what that was but I can do that accidentally. can also wiggle my ears without raising my eyebrows and I can raise one eyebrow at a time but I think that's because I always used to watch The Rock do that

    Guy learned to gleek in high school. He decided it was a good thing to squirt class members until the day he decided I was his target. Needless to say after class he didn't do it anymore.

    We used to have gleeking contests when I was in school to see who could do it farther.😂

    I've been able to gleek my entire life. I never knew until now that most humans cannot do it.

    I can move each ear independent of each other or together at same time. A trick I learned to do in grade school.
