Thank you Denny ARD FAMILY for bringing this wonderful experience virtually to us. We actually visited there in Kaietuer and we were allowed to walk into the Rocky plateau some yards away from where the water flows down to the stream. On that day, it was sunny ,we were not allowed to pick up any stones from the fall. I remember those places and they have now improved on the camp building with the souvenirs... Lovely.....REST IN PEACE TO THE HERO CHRIS SANKAR...

But as an amputee and living in the US I knew I wouldn't get the chance to go, with you I was able to fulfill a bucket list item. I love being on the adventure with you it was breath taking. I drank Kaieteur "black water" twice at the closest point before the drop. Kaieteur Falls is breathtaking. I had some of the best amateur set pictures from the closest point, but lost all the negatives (at the time) to someone I trusted. I am going to go back to Kaieteur sometime soon with my children, all American born. GTee to the bone.

Kaieteur Falls is absolutely breathtaking! It was my most memorable day spent in Guyana while visiting in 2018. It’s one of the worlds greatest natural miracles. Great video Danny, how can life get better than that!

My first visit to kaieteur falls was in 2007 n yes we was able to go up to the edge of the falls n also take a dip n at the edge of the falls it had a rock that stick out to the water edge called O my God where the water rolls over you it was breath taken.

I agree with Mikey, I would stand well back from the edge of the falls. Kaieteur Falls kind of reminds me of Niagara Falls, but it is smaller but much higher or deeper depending on how you look at it. The area has nice scenery and the foliage is lush and I was surprised that you saw a Golden frog, it was much smaller than I thought it would be. As you would say Denny, "how can life get better than this?" Good video Denny, thanks for taking me along.

They should upgrade the viewing area with a protective rail, and they could invest in a sky bridge going from one side to the other facing the falls.
I was thinking about that too but maybe they wanted to keep it natural.
Also need a little more housing. What a waste to fly and then have to rush.
Mother Nature created all these beautiful breathtaking sceneries for mankind to enjoy, but not destroy! Guyana has some beautiful places to visit. The walking journey to the falls is too far and needs lots of work done on the footpath. Maybe a mini bus.🤔

It's lovely to see the improvements of the guest house. Seems the trail to the falls is much easier to walk than what I went on in 2004.
