Abandonment issues are some of the hardest ones to get over. It creeps up on you and you have to do a lot of self-discovery. Abandonment issues make you feel like you can't trust anyone and can potentially make you isolate yourself. Which is perfect for a predator or a very controlling partner to take over. I can identify with her story and I'm not surprised that she picked Tom because of her past. Her actions make since now considering her past. Hopefully she's still going to therapy and can make decisions for her life based on healing and compassion.
I heard someone refer to a tragic childhood? Really? Was she in dire poverty? Was she molested or physically abused? She grew up without a father. Girl, I still don't know who my father is. Lots of people grow up in a single parent household. The pity party here is sickening.
She was such a great performer, nobody knew who she was before RHBH. Then we find out she was doing these performances for no pay and paying the bills with other people’s money. She is going to have a very long and hard fall from grace and eventually she’ll get it.
Finally somebody sensible on here. I feel the same way. Not giving that Narcissistic thief any of my money. I am absolutely sickened that Zack is promoting her book and others on here are going to buy it. He just lost a subscriber. By the number of views, clearly a lot of others feel the same way.
@@bluebutterfly7233 I have conflicting feelings about it too but my curiosity wins out. I could listen to the audio version on audible for free but I'm not interested enough, especially about kindergarten performances. Kindergarten plays, who gives a $#@&
Honestly when you have abandonment issues you're always waiting for the bottom to drop out. Think about it at an early age the two people you're supposed to trust the most either abandon you or are emotionally unavailable.
Omg Zack, I love you so much and I have from the moment I first watched one of your videos. I had horrible parents (I lived with my grandmother). My husband and I weren’t able to have children, we tried many times but I was never able to carry to term (due to an underlying kidney issue). You are the child I never had. From the moment I saw you, I thought, I wish I had a son just like Zack. You are a gift. 🙏🏻💞
Seriously Zack? I cannot believe you're reading her book on here and promoting it! Seriously? That sure isn't going to win subscribers over. Me anyway. Judging by the amount of views, I'm not the only one who feels that way. I'm not going to watch a channel that supports somebody that was part of an embezzlement scheme to defraud victims of millions of dollars in one way or another.
On the show she did state the even as a child her mother really treated her like and adult. I remember her talking about her mom sending her into the store alone to cash her check at a very young age.
Her life is inmerterai, these victims ,have lost more both parents in some cases, Also children died, get over your life,i had hard life but would never take from anyone, let alone the victims, that you build a Life on lies, the victims are the valrenable one's God bless you all victims, give up the money, then you might get some simperthy, but now your a nobody,
I haven’t read the book but now I’m going to. I like your narrative. This helps understand where Erikas attitude comes from, but I had a really hard life too and I don’t act like that. I get her relationship with money I just don’t think that it justifies the way she treats people. Also I do believe that she and Tom had a certain relationship And expected certain things and got them out of it.. If she stayed and treated her like crap then that is her choice. I don’t have sympathy but I understand to some point.. love your content ❤️
@@karenevertsen1898 Exactly!!! She's a full grown adult now and makes "her own" choices. She has no remorse either. It burns me that people are so easily swayed depending on which way the wind is blowing. Just like Dorit! Makes me sick that people don't have minds of their own and are so easily swayed. Wow!
Zac, I’m really happy that u are breaking down her book. It gives us an understanding as to why she behaves the way she does.

I would buy the book if I new she would give her % to the victims
She will NOT hand over anything. Surely people know that by now. I will not support anything that is associated with her except going to prison.
Thanks Zack.I was curious, but not about go give her a dime.

Watching in Fort Myers Florida! Don't have time to read it, but I will be watching your recaps!
You have become one of my favorite to get info on Erica Jane!
Your skin is flawless! I can’t wait to read this book!
Love your podcast!!
Thanks for recapping, this hits different now. I was Booooooored put my mind when it first came out on audible.

There’s no evidence she was part of a scheme. She just spent money and her husband paid the bills. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
I wonder why ? Hmm.. speculation has it they are buddies.
thank you for this‼️
Watching from Az. Good morning. Haven’t watched it but looking forward to your recap. 😊
I think 90% of us have had traumatic childhoods. Give me a break! She’s horrible.
Hi Zack!! Have a fabulous day!!
Hi! You too!!
I think Tom planned this out and set Erika up to take the fall.
Yes I believe he resented all the money she cost him although he liked to flaunt their wealth. I think this couldn’t have been a mistake.
I totally agree! He knew he could get away it
Why the scepticism in the comments? For what reason would she lie about her past? There’s no reason.
On the show she did state the even as a child her mother really treated her like and adult. I remember her talking about her mom sending her into the store alone to cash her check at a very young age.
Will you give merch to non-US viewers?

I agree with the part that her life does not justify what's she's done! Why on earth would you support her by buying her book?
@@bluebutterfly7233 true!!! I think I won’t lol hadn’t even thought of that
If you're going to credit parents for raising well-behaved, successful children, then credit them for the mal-adjusted ones as well.
Purchased drag me . . . Love it
People don't leasing this guy who is pretty much on Erika's side don't care about the victims
I don’t think I am where this is happening
I ENJOYED IT 😉 GOT TO GET THE BOOK 📖 😀 I LOVE ❤ ERIKA
I have it been haven't read it yet
Me too that’s why I need Zack to make it more exciting and entertaining
Wait til you get to the part where she left her son behnd to pursue a career in entertainment.
Enjoying this and am a fan of Erika’s
Why are you promoting this woman’s book? Shame on you!
8:47 Zack... Are you saying "née"?? That's not a name. That refers to an original last name. 😆
Morning love
Hi!
I didn’t read the book
So Cute!! Keeping it Fresh.
Seriously is this a PROMOTION for her book 🤣🤣🤣
It’s called a Book Club… 😂👀
XoXoXo from Chile 🇨🇱🙂💕
😘
OMG! I wish my eBay order for this book would hurry up and get here! I'm so ready to read and discuss!
After listening to this I feel profoundly sad for Erica..so much early childhood trauma. Too much.
Lots of people have horrific childhood trauma and do not become thieves
