Many years ago, we had a Cormorant Heli hover over the Winter Harbour wharfhead for 20 minutes waiting for a sport fishing boat with a back injured person. They came down on the line with stretcher, put him in the basket, up and off to Campbell River. Great to have this equipment and personal 😉🇨🇦
@billbarber9840 Scarpe, 8008. You were my section commander. I saw you again a couple of times after that. Once in Edmonton after your first operational jump and then again in Trenton in I guess around 2000, 424 family day I'm thinking. You were in the FD at that point.

I live in a very remote fishing and logging community coast British Columbia. 442 gives us a hand out here. I know what you guys do and I'm grateful
Thanks for the kind words. Please make our jobs easier; when you're out in the middle of nowhere have a Spot/PLB/InReach/SatPhone/something with you!
Mission accomplished 🚁🚑👍
You gotta love RCAF SaR crews. Doing gods work
Matt…. Appreciate the work you are putting into your videos, most excellent. Keep it up, fly safe.
Thanks for watching and the feedback.

I hope you're doing well brother.
Indeed we have. I hope you are doing well as well.
Come to think of it I think you may recognize the hand on the hoist cable in more than one of my videos.
