Hi just wanted to tell you I've changed my batteries from 60ah to 75ah and its like night and day, there a bit more power also and I can go outside with out worrying if I've got enough power to get home, thank you for the information, you have save me allot of money.
I suspect handling is similar, if not slightly better than the Alltrack M3. Anytime you add larger tires, it's going to improve ride quality. Plus, the longer arms for the rear casters make it more like the Alltrack M3.
Than you for the video , Regarding the Magic mobility x8 I have one for outside But my F5 broke down so i had to drive the X8 inside ! " Your right " it did more damage inside in one day than the f5 did in years So yes they are an outside chair 100% don't ever get one thinking you can yous it in both environments , you can't
I am so tired of my Amy system’s chair. I’ve had nothing but trouble with this chair pretty much everything has broken on it and has been replaced. Luckily, I have decent insurance and I haven’t had to pay anything out-of-pocket, but it’s really annoying because of constantly have broken parts on the thing I’m currently looking at the new IBot because I just can’t own two chairs one for indoors and one for outdoors and Ibot is definitely the Swiss Army knife of wheelchairs
@@TotallyNormal- I demoed one last weekend and it’s 20 years ahead of anything else available unbelievable you can climb a staircase like it’s not even there and go up and down curbs like they’re not even there truly revolutionary and only $32,000 base price without the seating
Totally normal keep up the hard work. You’re doing a great job. FYI, I’m sure you know but you’re a freaking animal! This is Bob H north of Seattle. This post makes me a bit nervous because I just bought a brand new Amy systems chair. It will be here this week. I talk to you months ago about rear wheel drive versus mid wheel drive etc. Anyway, have a great day, Neighbor
one of the big issues with amylior is making sure your DME knows how to work on them! they do things a bit differently, and if the maintenance/repairs are done by people that arent familiar, it can lead to a really bad experience! when i had my first one, every time i took it in for work to be done, i had to fix all the mistakes they made when i got home with it. its nothing complicated, but if the techs are in a rush and not paying attention, its pretty easy to assemble things incorrectly!
Have you experienced any rear caster flutter with either caster size? I have the 8.5 MPH motors, with the lithium battery option, and initially had the outdoor package, with 9" casters. The rear caster flutter was terrible. They swapped the outdoor package with the standard rear casters. The rear caster flutter is better but still occurs regularly. They are blaming it on the lighter lithium batteries.
ahhh the lighter weight lithium batteries are a valid point! the way amylior does the castor swivel mechanism, im not sure if the tension can be adjusted.. have ya spoken with amylior directly, instead of via a DME?
well dang... - BTW are you in the US, or Canada? i wasnt aware the Li batteries were an option yet! i know they've been working on them for a while tho...
Hey there, I stumbled across your videos while trying to figure out how to add RC and off-road tires to a harvested mobility scooter for my son, 12. He would love it. I made a RC powerwheel for him 8 years ago but it was a big learning process. Can you point me to resources for a fairly simple RC mod? I would be happy to support the channel for any help. Thanks!
depends on the control system if you want to utilize the stock electronics - but there's a lot of videos on youtube for various ways to accomplish RC control for wheelchairs :^) sometimes its easiest to just add you own RC control system instead of injection signals into the chair's controls - if the chair isnt very big and wont have a bunch of weight on it, something like a cytron smart drive could work - amzn.to/4fqR2Gy ive used one of those for projects in the past and they're super handy! - th-cam.com/video/pZYYF_otj3c/w-d-xo.html
@@TotallyNormal- Hmmm, I don't know about amps and volts. I am running to 12v Lithium 20amp batteries in parallel. Would I just need a system rated to 40amps? The stock chair only has a speed controller. It is turned manually by the handle bars. I could get one of those robot arm things. It starts with an "A" Adriunio Accentuator (sp?"). I know I used one remote to control the throttle and the steering for the power wheels mod years ago. I believe it only took two cards (processing boards, computer chip things.)
pretty much all power chairs run on 24 volts - they have 2 batteries in SERIES to accomplish this voltage. batteries for mobility devices typically have their capacity rated in Ah (amp hours)
I either forgot what I was using or don't have you in my contacts on what we were messaging on back ago I want to ask about remote controller interface , power chair I have I want to turn but needs work on controller
Dan what I'm asking for is how was I contacting you , I changed different apps from on device to another , and forgot your info , until wife sorted out your name for me
Yo! I'm attempting to repair a wheelchair lift so a person can access a community space, very little budget, nothing to code, just trying to get the thing to work, would love to consult with you if possible!!! Needs to happen ASAP!!! Thx
i have a few service manuals over on the website... if its a minivan use the 'wheelchair vans' section brokenwheelchairs.com/page-2/ if its a building platform lift, i don't have any of those posted - but as they are all kinda custom installs, service manuals are a bit more tricky to come by.. but searching around google might yield something!
That coffee really got you moving... like the flash with those tools... lol.
Awesome I can’t wait to hear your review on the off-road kit on the chair
I have almost the identical chair, same camo too. Mine is MWD with the same tires.
Thanks!
Oh wow that was AWESOME! They are huge. But is bigger better I can't wait to hear what you think .
that's a strong cookie box. I have one of those too

@@TotallyNormal- Canada. Does your new Bounder have caster flutter?
its a rear wheel drive chair - they dont really have that issue - also the castor trail on bounders can be easily adjusted if needed
