Indian judiciary system is biggest joke in our country now. Central goverenment should built fast track court that must come under HC and in such cases there should not be option of mercy petition.
Sometimes I think we (The people of India especially men) do not deserve constitutionally established democratic country because the privileges given by constitution sometimes become hurdles when there is need to maintain proper law and order as well as to decide on criminal cases. Similarly, those who are on the way to commit any crime they are aware of these constitutionally given rights and privileges and know that it will definitely delay the procedure and, in the meantime, they can escape and get out of such situation through political malpractices which is very common in India. Instead of creating a welfare state these rights and privileges are boosting the morale of criminals. Iam not saying that constitutional provisions are not good rather they are essential for growth and development of people but after seeing the mentality of our population who are misusing them for bad deeds, I think we deserve pre1947 era (The era of slavery and struggle).

Sir in most of the places CCTV cameras are installed only as a Showpiece they didn't work . Govt.need to make sure that in Every School,college , hospitals private clinics CCTV should be installed and they should be working their report should be checked by govt.officials on regular basis . When crime took place then we remind of CCTV and in every case we found that CCTV were not working.

It's not about what the government should do or our laws against such actions are weak , it's people's mindset that needs to be reformed , it's so scary that monsters with human masks are living among us.
Unless judiciary makes an example of such cases and give swift justice, nothing will change. Judiciary is at fault when it comes to justice delivery in India. Harassment continue for years for the victim and family after the incident. There are laws in place but use and implementation of those laws are not in place.

The same incident happened some years ago in MP , High court given death sentence.the accused went to supreme court then supreme court given verdict that Every sin has a future and changed the death sentence into Life imprisonment..... first fight for death sentence for rapists....
Actually they wait for few hours for lodging an FIR because see whether they can get bribe from the accused party or not. If not then they lodge an FIR.

Unless judiciary makes an example of such cases and give swift justice, nothing will change. Judiciary is at fault when it comes to justice delivery in India. Harassment continue for years for the victim and family after the incident. There are laws in place but use and implementation of those laws are not in place.
Last night I boarded a train from Pune to Indore. Because the protesters came on tracks, my train waited at Karjat station for legit 2 hours. 😢
