  • Oregon Inlet in North Carolina is famous for its breaking water, big waves, and shifting sand bars-- something that has caused many boats, especially recently, to run aground and have other issues. In this video, we bring our new Sport Fishing boat, Speechless, for the first time since purchase and luckily, local help on the radio and on the water helped us get through a very stressful moment.
A special shout-out here to all the amazing watermen, especially in North Carolina, who are always so willing to sacrifice their time and efforts to assist others in need.

One of the best views on the obx is coming across oregon inlet from hatteras at sunrise/set. I used to work in Avon and the ride to and from work was worth it for that view.

i Sam & Omies they have a GREAT picture or a local comercial boat with a net reel coming in. You have to look around to find it, i think it's over by the mens bathroom. It sums up what the watermen have to deal with to rovide fresh LOCAL seafood.

The only time that I've gone into the Oregon Inlet we passed the mast (only) of a recently sunken boat. Puckering!
