The way this show leads the viewer into wild theories about "what happens next" is second to none. I am so eager to hear the theories he will develop along the way. If you are reading this Sir, please understand... if ANY of your theories are EVER right... you will have beaten EVERYONE else. None of us ever really guessed the next moves. Ever.
Only surpassed by Peaky Blinders. SAO was my first "WTF? It wasn't supposed to be like this" show. PB took that feeling and dialed it up to 11. But SAO still holds top "WTF" moment
I haven't watched much lately, but this is going to be a treat. Those motorcycle clubs overseas are mild compared to the Hell's Angels here. There is an incident in the 1960s where the Rolling Stones hired Hell's Angels as security at Altamont Thinking they were the same as the ones in England. Big mistake. One woman stabbed to death and 3 other accidental deaths. It was bad news. I'm onboard for this though. Great stuff.

this show is based on the tragedy hamlet by Shakespeare. watch VERY closely because this story is so well written there are so many connections from the first episode to the last. the show runner and writer, kurt sutter, is a GENIUS. this show has some of the best writing and acting. the plot, themes, character development, everything is just perfect from start to finish. its an epic biker mythology so like i said there are so many details said and unsaid so make sure you're paying close attention! def worth a rewatch after you finish it to catch what you didn't the first time. you're already astute and intelligent so hopefully you give this show the attention it deserves! sidenote prepare to be sick of me lmao because this is one of my fav shows (wrote a 20 page paper about it in college) so I know literally everything there is to know.
Happy ( David Labrava) is an actual Hells Angel. He was going to be a technical advisor but Sutton, the shows creator decided no bro you are in the show 😊 and yes! The Hells Angels and Banditos are world 🌎 wide
This man has no idea about the wild ride he is about to embark on. This for me is top 5 crime Shows ever created. For me its this and Breaking bad and The Wire and The Sopranos and Prison Break.

Stop worrying about the “crime, the gangs, the superficial BS that runs thick in this series! Because IF YOU DO…….. you will love this series! CRAVE IT! You will shed tears, belly laugh, panic, be shocked, and LOVE characters! The FANDOM is insane all over the world to this day (since 2014 series end). RELAX with the judgements before you get to really see the show please! You won’t regret it.

I was the same, I didn’t watch it for the first time until a couple of years ago. And then I also watched 2 of the main actors talk about each episode, on TH-cam. That made me understand some of the episodes a little more and it actually helped me be able to watch the 3rd season finale instead of skipping it.

Sorry. I trying. You might be the first RC that I cannot make it through. I have watched this series so many times, and find real joy EVERY time someone else starts the journey. But bro, the “counseling” of every character in almost every scene, not waiting to see what plays out in the next scene. There is NOTHING that isn’t called back at another time (later in the series , fyi). Don’t watch with such a PC eye and feel that’s you need to point out the “Hollywood” off of the story telling, because you will ruin the experience of the show (there are a lot of “not in real life” moments throughout the series! Get used to it, or you won’t get the pleasure from it that you should). Please dial back the need to voice all your disdain for how other people choose to live (because you have your views on things). I couldn’t care less that we think/feel differently, and it’s ok to take sides because it’s human nature, but I can’t do all the “condemnation“ in your voice in every other sentence! I REALLY DO watch your music reactions , but this is isn’t that same feel for me (from you). I know it’s just a guy you don’t know, and it probably doesn’t matter to you at all. But disappointed has never been a word I have associated with someone I hang out with beginning watching SOA. I kno, I’m going to get roasted for telling you this, but oh well.

This show really implodes in its final couple seasons. Early stuff is good though.
