I was 8 years old in 1992 when Mortal Kombat came out. This was long before the internet was available to teach you how to perform special moves in video games. I will always remember the first time I was able to randomly input the button combination to perform Sub-Zero's fatality. That memory of 8-year-old me and my friends going crazy has cemented Sub-Zero's original MK fatality as the GOAT.
In my school vr game, Goalius has a very cool fatality in the form of Sonic Doom (he dropkick his victim then launches to Jupiter uses the planet as a slingshot Foot dive into Earth leaving a massive crater where the victim was)
So nobody’s going to mention The Kano Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Kano ripping his opponent’s skeleton out of their body’s Fatality. That to me is one of my favorite Fatalities ever made.

I love seeing the eyes pop out. Deception - Havik's Batter Up Armageddon - the entire system sucked MKvDCU - Joker. I live in Australia and it wasn't censored here. MK9 - Kenshi's Scatterbrained. I love seeing his opponent smashed against the camera MKX - Cassie's selfie MK11 - Sorry, I have to pick both of Kano's. His "Let's Dance" cracks me up, and "Face Like a Smashed Pie" is just so Aussie. Even though his accent is BARELY. MK1 - Main: Tie between Geras' time decapitation and Liu Kang's Black Hole. Kameo: Cyrax. That "Noooooo" as the explosion starts slays me. Close second for me is Stryker's bomb vest.

It was pulled off the best in this game. Best finish in general is the Cyrax Shark Animality. MKG: Liu Kang where he throws the opponent into the camera and blasts them with fire, because it's funny with Liu Kang's gibberish. MKDA: The fatalities are about as slow as the SN kids, but I like Cyrax's. MKD: Liu Kang's where he removes the opponent's head, and it's his head instead. MKSM: Liu Kang dragon. MKA: I've been thinking about this for 10 minutes now, I'll just give it to the Battle Arena one with the spinny things. MKVSDC: Toasty again idk. MK9: Freddy Krueger's where he drags you down to the blood thing, you know what I'm talking about. MKX: Leatherface's where he hangs the opponent on a hook. MK11: Cassie's with the heart symbol at the end. MK1: Liu Kang black hole (damn he has 3 on my list jeez). For cameos, (Cyrax's one is overrated btw) but I don't know any cameo fatalities so I'll get back to y'all soon.
Well I think that my favourite fatality is Liu Kang’s double dragon fatality, the way I like it is that Liu Kang would punch the opponent down just for him to summon 2 dragons which they fly toward him, they would grab the opponent and pull him left and right In the air, and Liu Kang would jump in the air and slam the opponent’s head, tearing the body apart, which he smashes only the skull.
My favorite Mortal Kombat fatality of all time has to be Kung Lao’s Fatality. When he cuts the opponent in half with his razor sharp hat. Or Jax when he rips both of his opponents arms completely off So Savage.
My favorite Deception fatality ain't listed. Havik ripping the leg off, the opponent screaming, then he baseballs the head off of the opponent and the screaming just stops.
Ermac's fatality in MKX where he uses his magic to levitate his opponent into the air before ripping out their intestines with his magic was brutal. Geras' fatality in MK11 where he kicks his opponent into a wall of sand before flaying them alive was brutal too.
The single Fatality that stands out to me the most is one of Dairou's from Deception, where he rips out some of the opponents ribs and stabs them with them. And this is for one simple reason: It was the first Fatality I ever did, Deception being my first MK game courtesy of the teen center I went to after my middle/high school classes ended for the day.

Perfection. Horror, brutal, gorey. MKX - Once again, Kung Laos head saw. Simple, effective, brutal. Honorable mention to Sub Zero Chest Cold Mk11- Kabal Road Rash every time. Nuff said Mk1 - Geras time loop and Liu Kang black hole are incredible due to sheer power but i think honorabke mentions have to go to Johnny Lamborghini and Barakas cookout Mk1 Kameo- Say what you want but i think the cyrax kill is over done by this point, fun call back but the best is Sektors squish, now THAT is a fun and fluent call back IMO
Jacqui Briggs and Tremor had some brutal fatalities. Split in half and you hear the heartbeat against the glass, and ripping apart half your body while the rest stays in the stone? Absolutely brutal.
I CANNOT believe nobody said Quan Chi’s fatality where he makes you rip your eyes out, tear off your jaw, break your neck, pull your own head off, and hand it to him as he holds it like a chalice! How did no one mention it??
Love the video and i respect all the picks here HOWEVER, i personally think mkxs best fatal should go to Laos Face Grind. He arguably has the most brutal fatal in 9 as well (imo its tied with Noobs make a wish) But ill never forget the feeling i saw picking up Lao in X after maining him in 9 thinking "well how can they top him from the last game" and seeing the dread on the opponents face as his boot lowers them onto a sawblade, especially using the buzzsaw variant. Nightmarish stuff man. Mk11 Kabal road rash is absolutely the best mk fatal AOT though lmao big agree there

I quite like fatalities where your opponent is taken as a trophy instead of just left lifeless, honorable mention to sektors scarecrow, but the first part of jade's fatality, kicking them that high and impaling them, I love it Mkx: Jason's sleeping bag killer. One of my favorite kills from friday the 13th being turned into a mortal kombat fatality? I love it Mk11: mr cage's neighborhood. I love bad jokes Mk12: omni man train. I love the reference and combining it with the blood physics of mk12 is awesome

UMK3: Idk bro the fatalities are pretty mid in this game, but I'll go with the Scorpion toasty here. It was pulled off the best in this game. Best finish in general is the Cyrax Shark Animality.
MKG: Liu Kang where he throws the opponent into the camera and blasts them with fire, because it's funny with Liu Kang's gibberish.
MKDA: The fatalities are about as slow as the SN kids, but I like Cyrax's.
MKD: Liu Kang's where he removes the opponent's head, and it's his head instead.
MKSM: Liu Kang dragon.
MKA: I've been thinking about this for 10 minutes now, I'll just give it to the Battle Arena one with the spinny things.
MKVSDC: Toasty again idk.
MK9: Freddy Krueger's where he drags you down to the blood thing, you know what I'm talking about.
MKX: Leatherface's where he hangs the opponent on a hook.
MK11: Cassie's with the heart symbol at the end.
MK1: Liu Kang black hole (damn he has 3 on my list jeez). For cameos, (Cyrax's one is overrated btw) but I don't know any cameo fatalities so I'll get back to y'all soon.
Saw barakas in mk2 at the skate rink when i was a kid and it blew my mind.

The Quan Chi Pez dispenser fatality in MKDA was freaking hilarious

Well I think that my favourite fatality is Liu Kang’s double dragon fatality, the way I like it is that Liu Kang would punch the opponent down just for him to summon 2 dragons which they fly toward him, they would grab the opponent and pull him left and right In the air, and Liu Kang would jump in the air and slam the opponent’s head, tearing the body apart, which he smashes only the skull.

My favorite Mortal Kombat fatality of all time has to be Kung Lao’s Fatality. When he cuts the opponent in half with his razor sharp hat. Or Jax when he rips both of his opponents arms completely off So Savage.
My favorite Deception fatality ain't listed. Havik ripping the leg off, the opponent screaming, then he baseballs the head off of the opponent and the screaming just stops.

Ermac's fatality in MKX where he uses his magic to levitate his opponent into the air before ripping out their intestines with his magic was brutal.
Geras' fatality in MK11 where he kicks his opponent into a wall of sand before flaying them alive was brutal too.
Honorable mention for MK Classic - Liu Kang’s bicycle kick / uppercut into The Pit
The single Fatality that stands out to me the most is one of Dairou's from Deception, where he rips out some of the opponents ribs and stabs them with them. And this is for one simple reason: It was the first Fatality I ever did, Deception being my first MK game courtesy of the teen center I went to after my middle/high school classes ended for the day.

Love the video and i respect all the picks here HOWEVER, i personally think mkxs best fatal should go to Laos Face Grind. He arguably has the most brutal fatal in 9 as well (imo its tied with Noobs make a wish) But ill never forget the feeling i saw picking up Lao in X after maining him in 9 thinking "well how can they top him from the last game" and seeing the dread on the opponents face as his boot lowers them onto a sawblade, especially using the buzzsaw variant. Nightmarish stuff man. Mk11 Kabal road rash is absolutely the best mk fatal AOT though lmao big agree there

At 19:28 someone mentioned "chain reaction" as the best fatality in MK11, but the video showed the wrong fatality. "Chain reaction" is the one where scorpion throws his spear at the opponent and goes through the ground to split him in half.
