Most people didn't think that Payton Turner, Davenport, Foskey, and even Ruiz should've been drafted as high as they were. All project picks that got taken early
I never thought Ruiz was a good player. In my view, I think if the Saints want a player in a certain position, they should draft a player that plays the position they are looking for vs drafting a player out of the position they're looking for and trying to turn him into that guy. I believe that would solve most of the problems this team has as far as developing players.
@@Saints4Lyfeyou’re right he hasn’t been a good player, he had one good season and Mickey paid him, we can’t even count on him to hold up by himself 1on1 without our starting center. We need 2 new guards, I believe our 1st round pick will be one tbh
Still wild to me Nick is hating on McCarthy especially because he fired Moore. McCarthy fired Moore then led the Cowboys to another 12-5 record while being the primary play caller AND having the Cowboys 1st in scoring offense and 5th in total offense
That’s not exactly how that happened. Kellen Moore was fired at the end of the season and this season we see McCarthy is a tool without him. Relate any offensive success to Moore. Not McCarthy. You too blind brother. It’s okay.
I kinda disagree with the recruitment process. The Saints aren’t the only coaching job available is the point Loomis is missing. If I’m a top candidate I have options. You have to sell me on something. The arrogance to want a coach with options to beg for this job is crazy. Which is why we won’t get a top candidate because we’re too prideful…
Team was only healthy the first two weeks. Yeah, if they were healthy all season it would've been a MUCH different season. Even with a depleted team we should've beaten the Bucs, just needed our real QB and that game is different.
Seeing reports AG & Jets are close to hiring. Nick i hope there’s no truth to that reporting if it isn’t NOF I need verification or Ross Jackson good reporter
I don't understand this logic. We wanna do things differently than they have been and we want an offensive coach. So we want Aaron Glenn not McCarthy. What?! McCarthy was here under Jim Haslett a million years ago and is an Offensive coach... who keeps winning 12 games. Glenn was here under Dennis Allen's group for years and you could literally call him a Dennis Allen disciple AND he's a defensive coach. How in the WORLD is McCarthy "the same old thing" and Glenn "trying something new"? And Joe Brady is also someone who was a previous Mickey hire who would be more part of "the same old thing" than McCarthy who would be the BIGGEST change of the three. Obviously.
I don't think the Saints will get Mike McCarthy or Aaron Glenn no one want's to coach here I thought most of the other coaching jobs would have been a lot lower on the list than the Saints but nope the Saints must be the sh!t hole of the NFL
You fired Dennis Allen as a losing head coach for you going to go higher another losing head coach as Mike McCarthy are you bananas you ain't serious I hope you win😂 hell to the no no no no no
2-15 for the next four years straight, incoming. Unless you hire a real coach that hires a solid staff. None of these young guys are leaders of men. IMO
@ you can say it worked with Sean Payton, ok, then go get Sean Payton, which is Mike Mcarthy. Young coaches need tools. The Saints don’t have tools. We need to embrace the fact that we are not THE destination. If we could get MM we’d be lucky as heck, considering the state of the Saints.
@@rex2837 we would be lucky to have Mike to do what exactly build a staff and a winning culture? As well as fix our drafting problems? A young coach with fresh ideas and approaches is the way to go. Mike is stale at this point.
@ then Denver screwed up and hired a stale coach. We are a cellar dweller. We need an overhaul and stability. I think that’s why the opinions are split. We are beggars now, not choosers. Regardless of Mickey says. Mike will go to Chicago and they will be in the playoffs immediately. We are in a free fall. Mike could stop the free fall and take us back to respectability in year 1. With that said, I do like AG. But he’s going to the Jets. Brady and Ben J are not ready just yet, imo. So it’s Rizzi or Mike. I’ll go with Big Mike

Except Ruiz because he was a later 1st rd pick, but he was supposed to be a center

New show thanks for the great content fellas
Hiring MM = Loomis Final Death Blow To Himself = Make It Happen Loomis
Why are people hating so much on mm ?? He's essentially Sean Payton
hes SP with an outdated system that everyone knows soooo not SP
Thank you to all the hard workers at NOF
I think we are all in agreement: AG or reach w/ Brady.
Davenport had too much Ricky Williams in him 😂 you knew he was quirky every interview.

I think fans know they need a miracle worker to stay afloat. Might be an unreasonable expectation.
Dennis Allen beat Mike McCarthy head-to-head this year😂

I would prefer a offensive guy...if you have a good OC he's going to get a HC gig. Rather have rotating DC than OC
Todd Monken!

I don't think they can hire in season.
Well they are pretty much a done deal was the reporting but I don’t know if it was accurate source but I hear you AG still coaching.
Heard that too....
Might be a blessing in disguise and Brady is next Sean Payton for the next couple decades how great would that be 😂
thats good news.

Hire a rookie young coach, with no leadership ability, especially trying to lead ppl older than them. Good luck. Lol
