I definitely feel like I can relate to JoJo and Mal on a personal level because I don't always feel like I'm being understood in a way that I want to be understood.
JoJo isn’t acting like a kid, she’s giving the public what they want and came to see that’s why she’s still performing with all the artificial stuff and the extravagant outfits, people came to see the little girl JoJo they’ve always known and she can’t just like that stop being the role she’s been doing her whole life. At some point she will probably go with something different and I can’t wait for that day to come. JoJo is very inspiring and talented as hell and actually very mature. I’ve grown to like her so much which I used not to. (except in dance moms she was my favorite) Also the dance was perfect and yea maybe a little more “elegance” would have been good but it was actually insane the way it was!! Jenna looks gorgeous as always.
I think she's also spoken up and said she enjoys it, though. Which whatever - if you enjoy rainbows, sparkles, etc., who cares? But it was ESPECIALLY weird that she was a literal child/young teen when people started commenting and saying that what was wearing, acting like and so on was "too childish". Again, I think people should be free to like what they like as long as it isn't hurting anyone, but who looks at a child enjoying their youth and thinks "wow, he/she needs to grow up". So bizarre. But I do think as you suggested that Siwa likely also has probably grown accustomed to her style, and will maintain it for a while even after she has lost interest in it. But most people are like that - you don't change overnight, and some of the things you loved as a child you will still love as an adult.
I also find dancing with the stars to be more contemporary in the choreography of each dance, than classic ballroom. Strictly Come Dancing seem to stick to more classic choreography than DWTS does. Just an observation of DWTS in general- nothing personal to jojo. Love her and she’s doing amazing.
I feel like the hair added to it, tbh. It really cemented the theatrical vibe + gave the feel of an action movie? While it might be a little bit distracting for some, for me it felt like their hair was dancing too; almost mimicking the movement of their skirts.
They looked incredible. They connected and danced together amazingly well. My love grows for them each week. Especially Jenna. She's a beautiful human. Anyone know where Ky is? Haven't seen her. Haters gonna hate. Lovers appreciate.

You have mel c in there, she does loads of choreo for her shows + amanda kloots who is not only a broadway actress but also was a rockette... Dance experience might help but does not neccessarily make you the champion (Melissa Rycroft her first season, Corbin Bleu, Heather Morris etc etc)

Choreo and music have like -0.000000000001% connection. Remove the song and dance is OK; but nothing matches to the beat, like, nothing. Not one single move.
I really like Jojo and she is an amazing dancer but I can’t help to think it’s unfair because she has dancing background I think the way she is, there is no competition she will win she is good as the professional dancers they are dancing with, even better just because of her energy. I hope this show becomes a good step up in her life..
I believe this is her first time learning balllrom which is way different from pop or any other dance. Proper ballroom has rules w/c other dances don't have, and the dancers are judged accordingly. Some past DWTS contestants who had background in dance or music have found those rules really tough.
Every year we have Disney Stars, previous performers ect who have dance experience and the same thing is always said. Kenzie Ziegler was on DWTSJ and didn't win even though she had years of dance experience. Jojo is already worth $12 million - she will continue to perform in some capacity for yrs.

She hasn’t taken dance classes since she was 12 she isn’t a professional dancer she does the same amount of dancing now as any other pop star
