I love that they try to make it fun too! When I started teaching we weren’t allowed to wear costumes, etc. I love that the pendulum has swung the other way. ❤❤❤
You never know what the kids are going to be like when they know they are being recorded! I'm sure it will go great...you are an amazing teacher! Data Dives are so much fun and making sub plans, too, ugh!
Come to your room to video for training? That’s awesome! Congratulations on being recognized for your wonderful work. How can I see this video after they record? 😊
Students with IEPs do get pulled out for needed help with our resource teachers. We also have a few floating assistants who are able to come in for some time to work one on one (or a few at a time) on skills, and then I work with all students in small groups as well as whole group instruction. We also do an hour of RTI instruction each day, and students are serviced by myself and my 3 co-teachers currently mainly in reading! Because of this, we are seeing good growth with many. I wish there was a way to do even more! How do you do reading instruction where you are? :)

We did a “dress as your favorite idiom day”! It was fun! Mine was “eyes in back of my head”, of course! 😂❤️

Thank you so much for the vote of confidence! You are right, it is always a surprise with kids! 😂❤️

Thank you, Kristen! I’m guessing our EL department may use it for training? Hopefully it’s not going to be a DO NOT DO THIS video?!? 😂❤️
How do your students with special needs receive reading instruction? Do they get pulled out with an IS?
