Bears looking good. Nice to know our back ups are out performing other teams back ups. Is it me or do the Bears look pretty well coached? Great point by Hoge that the punt return is still a problem. Just put DJ back there and have him fair catch it every time.
The unfortunate reality is that we’re going to lose solid backup players that will get picked up by other teams. On the bright side we have so much talent that we have to let good players walk. These men played their balls off this preseason, some of them definitely deserve to be on someone’s 53.
Bookers athleticism has outpaced his coaching at every level so far. There are those guys like Von Miller playing DE at 250 lbs and are super productive too so maybe Booker doesn’t have to wait to break out even undersized.
Chicago has never had a QB room like it does now and they would do well to keep it that way. Never trade Bagent. He's just to to valuable if Williams were to go down. He's an absolute tactician and mechanic.
As much as I love the show it can sometimes just be hard to listen when Carm is on.. he just talks just to hear himself talk and what he says brings zero value.. you can even tell the guys are just like" ugh okay.. moving on "
Wild thing is at the end of last season if ya asked the average bears fan which special teams position was in dire need of upgrade: punter or returner? Would imagine 95% of fans would have said returner. Returner is gonna cost us 2 games this year, mark my words.
Hoge is wrong. There a new thing this year that you can keep 2 players designated as injured that don’t count to the 53. Amagadjie will likely be one and maybe Jacob Martin.
My prediction…. Bagent is a starting QB for another team next year. He’s too good to keep as a backup and next year is the final year of his rookie contract. Poles won’t pay him what he’s worth because the Bears have Williams so easy math is the Bears trade him to get the draft capital. His services are going to demand a late 1st or 2nd rd pick
I'm doing my job. We start the postgame shows immediately which means that some of my social media obligations (sharing the show to multiple platforms) can't happen until we are live. Trust me, I'd love to just sit there and talk Bears. But I am doing my job.
To say Hardy is not making the team by Nick. Seems like Nick is not invested in knowing what's going on with the team. And for the others not to call him out, shame. Nick is worried about being buji.
You guys are killing it! Thank you for all the work you put into it! I'm ready for this season! Let's fucking go! Claws up. Bear down!
We're not use to the Bears having this many good players to make decisions about.
Carm: [makes a point]
Hoge: WHAT IS WRONG WITH U
I totally agree with Bragg's! You have to keep the quarterback room the way it is. Do not trade Bagent!
I like Velus over Homer.

I agree on your 1st comment
This guy suggested to release Terrell smith 🤦🏽♂️. He just be saying anything. That’s your number 3 corner 😂😂😂
Whoever said that is Blind I'm a Big fan of Smith
This is the hard part. Some will have to be let go. Sigh. Then they will get picked up by other teams. 😞
Really excited about Waldron’s offensive scheme. Nice to see something other than the classic Getsy “everything is a screen” approach

Best wishes on your surgery. Greg!

Carm doubting the Big Dog is ridiculous. No old-man solidarity.
Thank you for buying Mark a new mic lol
Depth is real
I was with Carm the whole time re: Bagent. I agree with Braggs here, just wish you woulda seen it earlier Braggs, but I understand being hesitant.
If Reddy doesn’t make the roster I’d be disappointed
Claws 🆙
When do they have to cut down to 53 ? I’m cheering for everyone man but I know some tough decisions will have to be made.

Bragg's, was that YOUR daughter that Caleb gave a hug to during the KC game?
Okay just got to the Mercedes Lewis Carm part. 🤦🏼♂️
1:11:08 that's interesting yeah
Velus is making the 53

🐻⬇️💪
What about Jonathan Owens?
R.S nice butCarm buggin if he thinks Blackwell should get cut for Reddy
Velus 1000% got reps at running back last year, do you watch the games Carm? 😂
BEAR DOWN

I would rather drive down Hoge Lane than Pessimistic Place...Carm🤦🏾♀️
Braggs put the phone down and focus on the pod my brother

@@BraggsInTheStands just a little constructive feedback when you’re able to, I’m not hating. Love the show, keep it up and go bears
Reddy steward a ball hawking 23 yr old. Strohman 28 fringe ps guy whose ceiling is known. No brainer, you keep steward cut strohman
BearDown
You losing Redi if you put him on the practice squad. He getting poached. But it's a good problem to have.
How does Carm expose himself as knowing less than casual fans every week? Reddy over Terrell or Blackwell? Lol… Jesus Christ
Every year you guys say you're winning 10+ games. Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?
Velus was against 3rd stringers….
Right but he’s also a third stringer. And he’s playing a new position
Why would I sub. To a group who calls a bears game a snooze fest?
Nobody cares.
Velus over Homer all day

Buji ... 😅
