Congrats! I just got into CC like 2 weeks ago. Got accepted to AIP Aug 12 this year. I've got about 110 videos up. Slowly crafting my process and trying to maximize what I can do with this. It is a lot of work! I'm hoping it will pay off over time. I made my 1st $100 profit, so that's got me motivated.
@@myfavoritethingsnotreal Thanks! Just subscribed to you! Trying to learn all I can. Have a great week and I look forward to watching more of your vids!

Excellent video, just started trying out creator connections. I don't know why they don't have a basic guide on how it all works. The video linking thing in particular confused me. Nice job.
@@myfavoritethingsnotreal Thank you! Although I got approved from my social, I do not attract offsite traffic at all, so I was wondering if I can only link to Amazon. Also- I believe if that is the case we are supposed to rename our videos to add the hashtag #AD, correct?
@@myfavoritethingsnotrealhello. I just accepted my first CC and was so excited to see that I had already posted videos for two of the products in the campaign. I had a question though. I went ahead and connected the urls to the campaign, but because I edited the video names to end with #AD, the videos went into pending mode and obviously are waiting to be approved again, which means the links I posted don’t work. i’m just waiting for the pending videos to be published so that I can post the new links. Having said that, do I have to do this every time and edit my videos to add this #ad? Or is it just something that everyone does? I’m also assuming that they may have been removed from the carousel and would be uploaded as fresh videos. could you please clarify on this? Thank you
You mention the special program making 30 sec reviews as an influencer for the special promo they ran. I was psyched about that too & make ALL THE VIDEOS. But, no word yet. Have you heard back? I thought Oct. 31 we'd hear. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place???
Thanks for this info! Is there a difference between copying the storefront video link with the 3 dots versus the little box/arrow button that also has a copy link option? Does it matter when sharing to CC? Thanks!
I always do the three dots that way the link is the video directly on my storefront. I don't know if it truly matters but it just makes me feel better. LOL
Hey there, let me start by saying I love your video and please keep them coming. I learned so much from you. I would like to know when they say like the source and I choose Tictoc underneath. This is a link which link should go into into that should be the, Amazon link or Tictoc link and do I have to create a video to place on Amazon?
you don't have to place a video on amazon, although I'm not sure why you wouldn't, unless you're not officially in the influencer program yet. For a TikTok, use the link to the individual TikTok video.
Thanks for the video! I just have a few questions if you're willing to answer. I started creator connections a few weeks ago and see that I have made some commissions on creator connections. But I don't see those commissions transferring over into my onsite or affiliate storefront. Have you seen the creator connection commissions on your net 60 pay?
Hi.... so, when creating the video can I also copy the Amazon affiliate link into the description before I copy the new content link to the Amazon Creator URL box? And, can I add an END screen within the same TH-cam video?
I don’t think the order matters for when you copy and paste into a description of a TH-cam video or the creator connections page. And I always like to add an end screen at the end of my TH-cam videos. I usually choose the option for TH-cam to pick one of my videos that best matches the viewer.
y clicking accept, you agree to the campaign as governed by the Creator Connections Associates Policy, and the campaign requirements outlined in campaign brief. Unavoidable disclosure is required on each piece of content posted for the campaign.
So all of the campaigns have this disclosure agreement. I would hit accept on any campaign that I already made a video for that exact product. I would also hit accept on campaigns where I have the product in hand. Just be mindful of end dates first campaigns, you don’t want to be surprised.
This is helpful, thank you! Does the content for the campaign have to be new or posted within the dates of the brand's campaign? Or am I able to join a current campaign but including a storefront post from last year? I can't find anything on Amazon to figure this stuff out 🙃
@@myfavoritethingsnotreal Also, I'm assuming the video should only include the featured product? Or can it be multiple? A lot of my stuff is DIY so is showing how to create something using multiple products. Thank you!
@@modernweddinginvitations I would look at "Creator University" under Help in your associates tab where you look at earnings. That will give you tons of dos and don'ts. :D
When filling out the form for free samples.. the last question "Are you willing to promote these products on a montly basis for at least 12 months? (1 video per month per product)"..... do you answer that "NO?" I was thinking "no" is the correct answer, but just wanted to double check best way to answer. Thanks in advance!
I would say no, but you could try to negotiate with payed videos. Like maybe say first video is in exchange for the product then I’m willing to produce three more videos at this amount each. That way you can start a relationship with the brand. If you’re interested in that of course.
If you’re uploading directly to amazon you must have the product in hand. If you’re uploading the video to TH-cam or TikTok a screenshot is okay but it’s always good to have the product so you can genuinely recommend it.
Hi! I'm curious if you would know this anwser. Let say there's a campaign for a single item, and also a campaign for the same item, but in a 2 pack (i have the 2 pack), can i do both? Do they have to be different videos?
I think as long as the review video product matches the campaign product I don’t think it matters on how many items there are. Unless having a 2pack if something changes the way it’s purchased.
@myfavoritethingsnotreal Thanks for responding. I have tried to read all these rules and honestly feel like they don't help 😕 So I just feel like I'm left guessing!
It seems Amazon recently changed their rules around a little. Lots of associates have been invited to CC and they still get the higher commissions with affiliate links! So you’re all good!
Sometimes I will have a video review for a product and see multiple Creator Connections campaigns for that product. Should I submit the video to all the campaigns it qualifies for? Or just one?
@@myfavoritethingsnotreal in the most extreme case I will see a bottle of nail hardener, and there are like 33 different campaigns going for it. No idea why.

There hasn’t been any word on what happens if you do not make a video and upload to creator hub. However, affiliate links are also something you can do with an Instagram post, blog post or even a community post on TH-cam. It’s best to purchase the product if the brand does not send a sample.
